THIS YEAR’S game is gonna be very tough as KSU is playing very good football and UT is playing a one start QB against a defensive “3 safety who do I block?” scheme that Sark has trouble with.
Should be interesting though. I am really curious to see how Malik handles this game. And how Sark play calls for him. I think this may require a simple approach. Possibly run the damn ball 6 Olineman stuff. Make KSU declare what they are doing on defense so the game gets simple. Empty backfield will also make KSU declare what they are doing as well. So possibilities of simplifying the game vary. Malik needs to know quickly what the play will be and if it’s not there throw it away. Not sure if he even needs to go through a lot of RPO type reads. Thankfully we and me are not paid to do this. Sark offense can get complex. He likes all his receivers and good RB and TE. Possibly too many toys to play with imo.
