I refuse to buy the fundraiser cookie dough. I would eat it all before they ever became cookies.![]()
Telecommuting rules! Sure you don't get ice or snow days, but you also don't have to make up that time later, work twice as hard later to catch up, or lose out on the pay like a lot of people. I generally get 3 days off a week anyways, so I don't mind at all.
My cousins did that fundraiser a few years ago - we had sugar and chocolate chip cookies for MONTHS. I may have to make a Starbucks run and have them heat up a cookie in the pretzel toaster now. Damn you.
Well, I opened the chocolate chunk dough and apparently my daughter has the same problem. Looks like I'm making oatmeal raisin from scratch.![]()
It's sad, but it's true.
I am happy to report that the Flying Saucer is warm, but the beer is still cold.
Did you walk there? Did it sleet on your head?
Yeah I walked. It may have sleeted on my head, but I was protected by my NorthFace Venture HardS , so I would have never noticed.
And I should point out that walking up a big icy hill is as difficult as you would probably imagine.
What has everyone watched today? I watched Urban Cowboy (still bad) and The Producers (still hilarious).
The Illusionist was pretty good, The Night Listener, not so much.
Going to get groceries and put gas in the car. Then I will be home.
wheres seqWHO with his famous..... WGAF......
We just went out for food and Starbucks. The sleet is getting bigger and heavier here. Its coming down at a good clip. The ice is picking up big time around here as well. The sleet picking up is a good sign for snow.
You guys are lucky to be getting this on a work day. Dallas got hit during our three day weekend, and now it's business as usual.
Here's some pictures of mine, on Lackland AFB:
