Barbosa is a decent scorer but about half of his points come from cherry picking and wide open shots so it's really hard to tell how good a scorer he is. I really would like to see what he could do on a half court team because he's one of the players I think the uptempo style and the "system" suits.
Wow, you have never watched Barbosa play outside of this game, have you?

He's such a great player because he's a great shooter and a great slasher. The Lakers couldn't stop him from getting to the basket at will, over and over and over.

3rd quarter was when we wore down the Nugs, don't think it'll work against the Suns though.

2nd half should be interesting... wonder what Pop will pull out of the draw?

Major difference from last series - THEIR BENCH CAN PLAY!

Phoenix played aggressive and made a ton of contested shots in the 1st half. Spurs in contrast were not aggressive and very stagnant on offense. The good thing is that the Spurs were able to play odd lineups and stay right in the game. I look for a huge increase in 2nd half aggressiveness on both ends of the court, and more contested shots from Phoenix start to hit the front of the rim and bounce out. Spurs are right where they need to be on the road, time to step it up a level for 24 minutes and take game 1.

What does upside have to do with it? Considering the teams and their systems, Manu having similar numbers is more impressive than you seem to think. I think Baboso is a good player, and was a legitimate 6th man. But Manu's a better player right now.
Ok - I'll give you that. Good points. Much better than timvp who was pretty much ready to give him the MVP, 6th man, MIP, DPOY...

The entire Dallas Mavericks is made up of European style floppers.
Not true. Devin Harris learned how to flop from Darrell Armstrong. He's by far the worst in the league. He was pretty good at drawing charges before, so he just added the head snap and the stomp-'n-whine.

    Shuda been a no call.

You can't complain though, you've been getting most of the calls.
Is that why SA has more FT's than the Suns?

It either should of been a foul by Duncan or a no call. I think you need to look at the boxscore to realize who has been getting the most calls. Here is a hint, it isn't the Suns.
I agreed it shuda been a no call - they were both fouling each other.

Yeah, okay, how about watching the game!?

The Suns got a lot of calls, not just fouls.

Alright, getting ready for the 3rd. We need a little more from Manu, way less turnovers, more assists and just up the intensity when the 4th quarter approaches.

If the Spurs don't protect the basketball better they will lose this game independent of any other occurance. Cut down on the freaking turnovers this half.

Yes, because as long as both teams have the same number of fouls, it's a well officiated game.

No, that's because your team can't handle Tim so you foul the out of him every time he gets in the block!

Again, teams aren't en led to the same number of free throws. Go read the NBA rules.

I've watched Barbosa plenty and of course you can't refute anything I've said because you know it's true. He does cherry pick a lot and no defense gears up to stop him because he's surrounded by good players. I know one thing is for damn sure...he can't score in the half court like Steve Nash can. It's either a wide open 3 point shot or a drive to the rim. His passing and defense is nothing to scream about either.

They probably did. Sorry. Free throw attempts have zero to do with that fact.
