The refs aren't going to really call anything in this game and the Spurs are going to end up very beat up - but they have to just keep penetrating.
We're in pretty good position considering TP's shot is off and Timmy got a foul 24 seconds into the game.

AHF's hate cancells with ducks love![]()
Jazz fans are ignorant western/mountain/in-bred/retrograde hicks.
Poor Miss USA. I think Miss Brazil will win it now. Anyway, the Spurs are in it to win it tonight. I can live with Tim only holding 2 fouls after 2. Just be careful in the 3rd, obviously.
Much better rebounding effort to this point for the Spurs. 6 offensive boards and +7 overall on the glass.
Kori.. U will still less of him and like kinds in the years going on.. Cos Tony will only get better..
Boozer and Williams can't miss from 18 ft
Can you think of any other adjectives that describe Jazz fans?![]()
Spurs cold from the 3, 30%. they need to keep driving and drawing fouls.
It's almost surprising to be at 50 pts for the half. The three point shot hasn't fallen and the big three is shooting 41% fg. The diference is the +7 edge on rebouding and better defense. The 7 turnovers still worry me. As long as the scrubs for Utah don't get theirs, we can withstand mini runs by Utah. Someone for the spurs will need to catch fire to open the game more to open shots from 3333333333.
+8 pts at the half is solid.
Isn't that how you describe Republicans?![]()
What? and wait for refs to call for a foul??? They aren't giving any fouls today, so be smart and pass the ball to the big mans or to the perimeter players
Come on Kori, Horry didn't even get the ball until the clock read 0.0
That's called being ignorant and classless. You don't boo a player that has nothing to do with how the refs are calling the game or how the Jazz are performing. The Spurs have given the Jazz nothing but respect this series and the fans respond with this ? Please, they aren't awesome they are classless.
Anyway, I'm glad that we are up but we must have a just as good or even better second half. Doing well in the first half has been the story of every game this series; the second half has oddly given us trouble. I want to see just as good of effort in the second half. Tighten up the D. If we stop Boozer or Williams, we will win. We have shut down everyone else. Continue to rebound, drive the lane and be just as physical/agressive. HIT THE OUTSIDE SHOTS, dammit.
Deron Williams really is sick tonight.![]()
Spurs went from 36% in 1st qtr to 46% shooting at the half.
Oberto is doing a nice job with his tip-outs. Pitty he missed that easy basket after the offensive rebound!
Around .8 - 1.2 but you are still acting like a moron every game and it's getting tiring.
I was just joking. I think they are great, too, which is why I hope Spurs fans planning to attend Game 5 are taking notes tonight!
No halftime lead is secure in this series. I hope the Spurs show their experience and play just as hard as the Jazz in the second half.
Tony's on his way to greatness and will be the face of the franchise after Tim leaves.
What's wrong with calling him out? I've lost track the # of times he's taken a bad shot or not gotten the pass to a teammate in time at the end of a quarter.
Horry was screaming (you could hear him yelling for crying out loud) for the ball, and Tony didn't get it to him until the buzzer went off.
Yeah he's doing an awesome job doing the dirty work. I hope he can avoid getting his 4th foul for awhile.
Parker has kept us in the game. He's gotten to the line 7 times and he's the only Spurs the refs are calling shooting fouls for. He needs to keep going at it. We aren't hitting outside shots right now so you want him to pass it? Yeah, nice logic.
Spurs gotta do it all over again in the 2nd half, and more, to counteract the Jazz stepping it up.
