I think it has to do with conflicted feelings on Manu and Tim's part.

Subconsciously, they're trying to hold and milk the 'compe ive' moment. Naturally they're compe ive person's and because they're aware that's not going to be given from the cavs, they're making the game more difficult for the Spurs by their own merit.

Only Tony's immune because the sooner he finishes the series, the sooner he can focus on Eva and the wedding.

Absolutely. If you just turned this game on and didn't know, you'd think it was in the first month of the season. No intensity. No hustle. Only TP and Manu showing much effort.
