This lie. Spanoulis NEVER say "I T-Mac of Greece" radio people say to Van Gundy "Spanoulis say he T-Mac of Greece" then Van Gundy make fun of him and Greece and accent. Then he start repeat over and over LIE that Billy say "T-mac of Greece". And stupid fan keep says it over and over.

You not know this happen then fine but not act like it not true because thing happen. Van Gundy especially make comment about in Greece they play basketball in barn so how can they know basketball. He make many such comment. And you act like Greek people be after him? Why? Most the Greekl in Houston AMERIKAN not from as. And most Greek in Amerika HATE Billy. He tell me many time how much hate in the mail he get from the Amerikan Greek about he is "pussy" and "whiner" and "crys baby" and all the same craps.

But these people never have even try find out truth. On clutchfans site they ALL still believe every word Van Gundy make up which was ALL lies. Billy never say such things and coach make him look foolish. Remember coach make up lie about "his mommy call the team and beg us let her Billy be OK"

The fan of Houston and reporter of Houston attack him for MONTHS over this thing but problem Billy mom NEVER call Rockets it LIE made up by coach.

Hasn't Spanoulis said that he wanted to have his brother with him if he decided to go back in nba. it complicates things because his brother had to stop his basket ball career to follow him.

Quite frankly, I don't see Spanoulis coming back in nba next year. There are just too much obstacles to that. It's not even sure that Spanoulis wants to leave again Greece and even if he was ready to try again to play in nba, his asking price will likely be too high for Spurs.
Pana's fans should be happy, Spanoulis will be with them for a moment.

Yes he would have stay this year with Rockets if his brother would come over and stay with him so his brother would be ables to take care of their mommy. But his brother in middle of play career in Greece and not want to give up career. And he play away from their mom and no one else to take care of her so Billy have to go to Athens if Dimitrios could not come to Amerika.

This make thing more hard for Billy to continue with the NBA.

I think IMHO that the Spurs definitely want VSpan, and most of us clear thinking Spur fans do too.
Kill Bill, why do you try so hard to convince those Spur fans that are always taking the "hard line"?
You will never convince them. Plus these are many of the same fans who call for the "Fire Pop" when things don't go right.
But I think by and large the majority of fans who have seen VSpan play, and know his game, need no convincing.
Nor do the Spurs FO or Pop. They will get VSpan over here next year if they can, and they should be able to.
I see no reason for you to try and convince VSpan that Spurs fans are as bad as Rockets fans, when it is only a select few who pan the guy and diss you.
I hope you understand what I am saying here.
Mainly, that the vast majority of Spurs fans who have seen and know VSpans' game, know beyond a doubt that he will be a great player for the Spurs!

Personally I don't fault him for trying to take care of his mother at the cost of his NBA career.

And I actually believe that Van Gundy severely mishandled this whole situation.

It's the way that Vassilis handled that situation that didn't help his cause. He never should have taken it to the media.

Hopefully I'm wrong... and should he decide to play for the Spurs in the future that he prove his naysayers wrong.

Before Kill_Bill_Pana, I thought of Spanakopitas as an altogether inoffensive asset hidden away in Europe. Maybe someday he wants to try the NBA again, maybe not. No big deal. If he decides to come and he's any good, it's a windfall.

Now that we've had about 30,000 threads started by Kill_Bill_Pana about Spanakopitas, I have a visceral dislike of all Greek basketball players. In fact, I'm now on the fence about whether Greek independence from Turkey was really such a good thing. If Kill_Bill_Pana would just shut the up and go away, this visceral feeling, I think, would go away fairly quickly.

Kill_Bill_Pana, for the love of all that is good, please, please, please, PLEASE, find a new favorite basketball team, and a new forum to torment. I find myself wishing the Spurs could just package their #1 draft pick with Spanakopitas in exchange for a warm pile of poo, just so you would go torment some other team's fans instead of us.

He will be backs with Spurs. He tell me and Spurs are in agreements. He will be with team after this year or next year. Depend on what role they wants him. Spur say he can be guard at both position which mean he can come after this year. Spanoulis want to play point guard only so this mean they bring him over when contract of Vaughn is over. Spanoulis tell me also get the agreement in contract of PAO to play point guard so that next time he go NBA no coach can make stupid argument he "shooting guard" because PAO team have 2 point guards. PAO team now have 3 point guards but Spanoulis run offense. This way he and agent decide so next time they will send stat and tape to next NBA team before sign contract makes point in stat and tape he POINT GUARD.

im pretty sure the minority of fans that would like him back made it very clear that it was dependent on him taking somewhere between the min and the LLE. everyone was pretty much in consensus that they dont want him here at the near MLE amount of 4.5 mil.

and since that is what it would take to get him here (as you said), no one realistically wants him here. except you...
