playoffs?
NO EXCUSES for this loss. Now we'rre stuck in the middle of the pack and one game away from Dallas
This was one of the "winnable" games. I don't care if the 76ers were on a streak, Dallas was one of hte few good teams they beat in their streak.
playoffs?
Well, that sucked balls.
We need a remake over the offseason.
Keep TD/TP/Manu/Bruce/KT/Ime/Bonner, bring in Splitter/Mahinmi/young swing/young PG. Keep Barry around?
I wouldn't be surprised if we end up a 7/8 seed at this point.
I feel this losing streak started when Pop benched the starters in Denver. Down 13 with 6 minutes to go and waiving the white flag. THAT IS NOT how you get your team to play a full 48 minutes by showing them how to give up.
I will bump this in june.
Finley 1-6
Bonner 1-6
Vaughn 1-4
Damon 1-2
This is such utter and complete bull .
At this rate, I am honestly starting to think that getting to the second round will be a minor miracle.
This is the low point of the season.
What's funny, is that we used the 84-81 win over the Suns as a momentum boost, and now, our 87-94 loss to Phoenix led the Spurs into a complete tailspin
whatever..I'm not going harp too long over this..doesn't look like they will repeat. I will still cheer for Tim, Tony and Manu; and Bowen because they are the heart of the franchise but I wouldn't be suprised if we lose in the first round!
I also have no idea how the SA shot 48% for the game.
It felt like 25%
Looking at the stats, TP/Manu/Bruce played a good game...

TD struggled a little bit...however, not as horrible as people might think...
Finley/Bonner/Stoudamire/etc...no words...I don't know what is going on!
But I'd imagine The Big Three at this point might be tired of getting no help from their role players, from their teammates...
Because we all know Manu will hit a three, Pop was trying to get Finley some confidence back.
I think since Parker's been back, Pop thinks we can slack off again in the regular season. He's made some pretty weird coaching decisions since our 11 game win streak ended, like with our rotations who we run our offense through, etc.
Let's tank and get in the lottery
Sixers have some hot-shot young athletes, that's for sure. Just a little more energy than the Spurs could bring throughout the entire game.
I kinda wish Pop would start calling out his bench, even in the press.
Anything to light a fire.
I think it started the game before that Suns game where Pop threw in the towel against Denver. That was stupid. I wasn't happy about it then and I still ain't happy about it now.
Life is too short for me to give a damn anymore..and I'm not blaming any of the Spurs big 4 at all. They bring it most of the nights..it's the pathetic reserves that we have! Great job by management like usual not believing in having any youth on the team!
I'd take Vaughn, Stoudamire, Bonner > Finley. Not sure why Pop can't see that.
it wouldn't matter our bench is horrible.
If we win the champ I will be ecstatic to have been proven wrong.
I never give up hope, but it's pretty obvious that this team is currently outclassed by most of the contenders.
So would I..and ing Damon was playing well until our idiot coach said he wanted him to be more aggressive!
I don't like the fact that Manu (as exhausted and injured as he is) had to play almost 40 minutes tonight.
For what ever reason trading Korver has been a bless for the Jazz and the 76ers.
at some point the bench needs to just grow a pair.
They're spoiled by the big four, It's not too much to ask for them to make their damn open shots. They're NBA players. They should take advantage that they have three great players making their life easier offensively. Instead they just aren't there mentally or compe ively, or whatever.
He didn't throw in the towel - the starters were getting owned, so he put in an energy lineup, and they went on a run!
There is a lot of revisionist history going on right now.
