The president misquoted Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s address to a Joint Congressional Session after the deadly attack on Pearl Harbor, tweeting
“National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day—‘A day that will live in infamy!’ December 7, 1941.”
Roosevelt actually, and quite famously, said that Dec. 7 would be “a date which will live in infamy.”
Melania got the month of the deadly attacks wrong in her tweet, writing,
“Today we honor Pearl Harbor Heroes. 11/7/1941.
Thank you to all military for your courage and sacrifice!”

[5] nontaxable Social Security benefits, [6] insurance value of Medicare benefits, [7] alternative minimum tax preference items,
[8] individual share of business taxes, and [9] excluded income of U.S. citizens living abroad. Categories are measured at 2017 levels.
Does anyone here count what your employer contributes for health and life insurance, FICA tax and insurance value of Medicare benefits as INCOME? I certainly don't. That means those incomes are INFLATED - and all those percentages should be bumped to lower income levels.

Planned Parenthood under investigation by Justice Department over sale of fetal tissue
The Justice Department has launched a federal investigation into Planned Parenthood’s practices and the sale of fetal tissue.
In a letter first obtained by Fox News, Justice Department Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs Stephen Boyd formally requested unredacted do ents from the Senate Judiciary Committee, the same panel that led the congressional probe into the women’s health organization.
“The Department of Justice appreciates the offer of assistance in obtaining these materials, and would like to request the Committee provide unredacted copies of records contained in the report, in order to further the Department’s ability to conduct a thorough and comprehensive assessment of that report based on the full range of information available,” Boyd wrote.
Fox News has learned that last month, the FBI first requested the unredacted do ents from the committee.
Fox News is told that Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said they needed to receive a letter and be assured that the do ents would be used for investigative purposes.
The letter, sent to Grassley and Feinstein on Thursday, is a rare confirmation by the Justice Department of a federal investigation.
“At this point, the records are intended for investigative use only—we understand that a resolution from the Senate may be required if the Department were to use any of the unredacted materials in a formal legal proceeding, such as a grand jury,” Boyd also wrote.
A spokesman for the committee told Fox News on Friday that they received the Department's "official request for unredacted copies of its 2016 report and we will work to cooperate fully."
In that final report en led “Human Fetal Tissue Research: Context and Controversy” published in December 2016, Grassley referred Planned Parenthood and other providers to the FBI for investigation.
Grassley said at the time that the committee has discovered enough evidence that shows how abortion providers had transferred fetal tissue and body parts from aborted fetuses for research by charging amounts higher than they actually cost.
“The report do ents the failure of the Department of Justice, across multiple administrations, to enforce the law that bans the buying and selling of human fetal tissue,” Grassley wrote last December urging the Justice Department and FBI to investigate. “It also do ents substantial evidence suggesting that the specific en ies involved in the recent controversy, and/or individuals employed by those en ies, may have violated that law.”

Feinstein, however, said in a statement Friday that the 2016 report was only presented to the "majority," meaning the Republicans on the committee.
"I hope that there isn't a partisan purpose in taking this action and that the department handles the chairman's request in a professional and ethical manner," Feinstein said in a statement.
The now-federal investigation comes after a 2015 undercover investigation by activists David Daleiden, leader of the pro-life Center for Medical Progress, and Sandra Merritt, an employee of the group, who both posed as fetal researchers and made undercover videos of themselves trying to buy fetal tissue from Planned Parenthood.
The recorded conversations included officials from Planned Parenthood and StemExpress, a California company that provides blood, tissue and other biological material for medical research and has received fetal tissue from Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood, at the time, strongly rejected accusations it violated any law or acted unethically. The group also “strongly” disagreed with Grassley’s recommendations to refer the matter to the Justice Department “especially in light of the fact that the investigations by three other Congressional committees, and investigations in 13 states including a Grand Jury in Texas, have all shown that Planned Parenthood did nothing wrong.”
“Over two years ago, citizen journalists at The Center for Medical Progress first caught Planned Parenthood’s top abortion doctors in a series of undercover videos callously and flippantly negotiating the sale of tiny baby hearts, lungs, livers, and brains,” Daleiden said Thursday. “It is time for public officials to finally hold Planned Parenthood and their criminal abortion enterprise accountable under the law.”
The federal investigation by the Trump administration will reopen the years-long debate on whether Planned Parenthood and other providers violated the law with the illegal sale of body parts.

Many in Hollywood don't like President Donald Trump. But Alec Baldwin remains one of his most outspoken critics.
While he already mocks the president on “Saturday Night Live,” he wants to do a lot more than that.
Baldwin thinks that the Russia probe is going to be Trump's complete undoing. In fact, he believes it so strongly that he ditched the costume so he could campaign for Trump's impeachment.
In a video that's going viral, Baldwin said:
"Donald Trump is in big trouble, and he knows it. Last week, one of his former top staff, Michael Flynn, pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about working with Russia on behalf of the Trump team.
He's the first Trump official to be charged with a crime in the investigation into collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government during the 2016 presidential election."
“Trump has always been worried about Flynn getting into trouble for his communications with Russia,” Baldwin continued.
Baldwin then brings up the idea that Trump could be hiding something. “What is Trump so scared of us knowing? And why was Flynn lying to the FBI in the first place?” Baldwin asked. He wasn't done, though.
“As the investigation gets closer to Trump and his family, he may try again to interfere and obstruct justice.”
“We can't let this happen,” Baldwin said, as he asked for people who agree with him to contact their representatives.
“We need you to call your member of Congress today and ask them to go on record stating if Trump interferes with Mueller's investigation they would vote to impeach Trump,” he explained.

Job numbers released today through the end of November show an increase of 2.2 million jobs since last years election and an unemployment rate of 4.1 percent. After the same period under Obama, (4.8) million jobs were lost and unemployment skyrocketed to 9.9 percent!
President Trump’s economic results could arguably be the best all time. The stock market is the highest ever and jobs are being created by the thousands.

According to data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, President Trump added a projected 1.9 million jobs in the first eleven months of the year (January through November 2017) and 2.2 million jobs since last year’s election.
The same cannot be said for President Obama’s first eleven months as he lost 4.8 million jobs. Obama was so bad at creating jobs that by the end of his second term he said that jobs were not coming back. This showed in his first eleven months in office because in every month the US lost jobs.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, under President Trump more Americans are in the work force than ever before. Over 160 million Americans are working for the first time in US history. President Trump is working hard to bring good paying jobs back to the US and his efforts are showing historic results. ADP reported 40,000 new manufacturing jobs in November. This was the highest reported monthly amount of new manufacturing jobs in the history of their report!
Unemployment
Also according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the US unemployment rate this year has been below January’s rate every month (January through September 2017.) The unemployment rate in January 2017 was 4.8 percent and by November it was down to 4.1 percent. These are the lowest rates in 17 years.
President Obama on the other hand again moved in the opposite direction. In his first eleven months as President the US unemployment rate increased every month from 7.8 percent in January 2009 to 9.9 percent by November of 2009.
The mainstream liberal media won’t report this, but when looking at the economy and jobs, the billionaire President Trump is providing a tutorial for any former community organizer that might hope to be President some day.

This poll has his total approval rating at 32%.
And we're supposed to believe a poll in which there are 47.3% more Dems/leans Dems than Reps/leans Reps?

You mistakenly explained the results of one poll using results of a different poll. I corrected you. I'm not interested in entertaining your poll bias theories. I know which poll results you will choose to agree with and which ones you won't before you even comment on them.
These articles/studies that are being passed around (like this one and the one from Joint Tax Committee? that uses employer contribution for FICA, health and life insurance and medicare benefits as INCOME) are terrible. And you people continue to believe them without checking the conditions under which the chart/research/poll is based.
I take total responsibility for using the results from another poll - I apologize and thank you for pointing it out.
You might not be interested in entertaining my poll bias theories, but I think the other people on this board should be shown the breakdown of this poll.
