No, you didn't directly compare him to Hitler, but when one speaks of what a "terrible human being" is--Kobe Bryant does not evoke that designation.
son I never once compared him to Hitler or anyone like that lol. come on now, don't be silly.
No, you didn't directly compare him to Hitler, but when one speaks of what a "terrible human being" is--Kobe Bryant does not evoke that designation.
lol really? ... so every bad person in this world is comparable to an evil bas like Hitler?
son Kobe is a terrible, spoiled rotten person but he is no Hitler. come on now be real.
Perhaps I overreached with the comparisons of what a terrible human being is, not is there a real definitive design on what cons utes a terrible human being. However, the main issue that first caught my attention was your comment that Kenyon Martin should attack Kobe as if that were a respectable thing to say.
I stand by my comments. I would love to see Kobe get put in his place. maybe then he would learn to have some respect for the game and understand its not all about him.
because Kobe slamming little Mo Williams to the ground and 'act if I didn't see it" and not even look back is a respectable move?
because Kobe elbowing people in the face, intentionally, is a respectable move?
i can go on, dude.
Kobe without Gasol vs Spurs. Spurs win.
Lakers without Kobe. Gasol had superstar numbers. Lakers played as a team. Lakers win.
Lakers with Kobe vs Portland at the Garden. 0-9 for the Last 5 years.
Lakers without Kobe vs Portland at the Garden. Lakers finally win.
Hmmmmmmm.....
chrisrichards, have you been converted?
do you see the light now?
lol BrHornet thinking he knows Kobe on a personal level or some . Is he an asshole on the bball court? Absolutely. Does that make him a terrible human being? No.
Koobe goes 8-20 and all we hear is how inefficient he is to take 20 shots to score 21 points.
Gasol goes 8-20 and its suerstar numbers!
Thanks for todays laugh!!!!![]()
You forgot the 19 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 blocks. Kobe always gets bailed out by his superior frontcourt mate in the end. Other than that, good job. Lets talk about the MOP of all time instead of Gasol.
Mother er, ive been a kobe hater for years. but i try to instill logic upon doing so. bless your lost soul son.
again. if kobe can dish 8 assists, and grab 19 rebounds and block 5 shots, then i wont really give him a hard time.
but when he gives you 32 pts on 8/29 shooting with 4 turnovers and 3 assists. then we have a problem, no?
Do you really need me to pull up all the threads and posts where nothing was discussed other than shooting %?
And that was exactly my point... if Kobe pulled in 15 rebounds, 2 blocks, 3 steals and 6 assists you would point out the 12-26 shooting. It's what you do. It's ok. Everyone understands you obsession. Alls good.
It's absolutely amazing the Lakers don't have 17 more losses than they do being as how that superior frontcourt mate never sniffed the floor. Not to mention the 8 games on the road trip where he just stunk it up and played like a pussy.
June is going to be sweeeeeeeeeeet.... and none of you will have the balls to show up and take your medicine.
It took Kobe being out that the real Pau Gasol showed himself. See how detrimental Kobe is to his team's psyche. Kobe is not only the MOP, he is also the MUHP of all time. He also has the most -suckers. Not to mention Odom playing extremely well now that he can handle the ball instead of that ballhog.
You are a friggen idiot. Gasol plays plenty of minutes without Kobe. I can agree with you about the psyche some and Pau and PJ even commented on it last night. The laker players get so used to Kobe bailing them out late in the shot clock when they toss him the ball like a hot potato that they often stand around and don't fulfill their roles.
I mean a real idiot. Odom is the most inconsistent player maybe to ever play the game. This is something well known by everyone long before he became a Laker. Well, except you. He is the Lakers X factor for just that reason. When he is on the Lakers are practically unbeatable. Oh BTW, you do know that Odom is 6th man and primary ball handler the majority of the time he's playing right?
You really need to step up your Kobe bashing if want to achieve Miami/chris/Harlem status. Your arguments are weak.
... and it is so going to gall you to see Kobe holding the LOB. You haters make winning the le a double delight for us!![]()
There's more to a game than scoring. If Kobe had a 19 rebound, 8 assist, 5 block game (or comparable) then i dont think you would find one person talking about an 8-20 shooting night.
Or, if Pau goes 8-20, with 5 rebounds and 2 assists and 0 blocks... then i dont think you have many people talkin him up.
Again, thank you for making my point yet again.
There is more to a game than scoring and shooting %. Defense, hustle, heart, desire, rebounds, steals etc etc all play a part. And yet there are thread after threads that blast Kobe simply on shooting % alone. Go figure.
LOL Gasol had a good game vs SA, props to him..He's a good player but he's actually been playing pretty ty lately other then that game. They're a good team without Kobe but none of them have the balls or skills to take over a game like him. Good team but Kobe puts them over the top. I actually think that Bynum starting is a problem..He slows down the whole offense & clogs up the paint..The triangle runs wayyyyy smoother with Odom in there over Andrew since he knows how to pass & meshes with Pau almost flawlessly.
I agree... I would actually start Odom and Brown and put Bynum and Fish on the 2nd unit. When you have the starting unit of gasol, bynum, ron, kobe, and fish there is no real slasher.
Bunch of bull in general. Gasol averages 36.6 minutes and Kobe averages 38.6 minutes a game. So, where does Gasol play plenty of minutes without Kobe? They most probably play at least half the game together. What? 7-10 minutes a game is plenty of minutes? I see Laker fan failed his math.
Odom is inconsistent on the Lakers and he averages 31.2 minutes. So that bull about Odom not playing with Kobe, you can cross that out of the window. And what a coincidence he stepped up when Kobe, the one with a 33.1% usage rate (Great, what a ballhog, the offense stops and Kobe uses up 1/3 of his team's posession while assist rate actually dropped), was out, Odom played his best ball because he gets to handle the ball more and play better. Coincidence? I think not, because if you get more touches, there is a higher chance to put up some stats. I maintain that Kobe is very lucky to win a championship being the extremely selfish player he is.
Sorry, Laker fan not only fails at math, but simple logic and statistics prove Kobe is a ballhog, destroying all of his opinions. Before you on me, and call me out to say that LeBron James has a 33.9% usage rate (just for reference), note that he was playing point forward/guard because his point guards are out and that he has a higher assist rate than Kobe "I hog the ball because MJ is my goal" Bryant.
Don't waste your time Chief..I didn't read what Gobbler is saying, but it's probably his usual inaccurate and illogical BS..
Nah, that is just a Laker fan being a Laker fan, probably chanting Kobe, Kobe like the buddhist sutra in the bathroom, in their sleep, and even when they are having sex.
see heres my problem with kobe fans
kobe fans anticipates a close game for kobe to close out, they take pride shoving kobe's buzzer beaters down everyones throats. sacramento kings, milwaukee bucks and miami heat, i mean these are teams the Lakers should be stomping easily, not beating in a closing second. forget team ball, let kobe take that glory.
laker fans in general take pride and joy watching their team win effortless (like the san antonio game for example) and play collectively as a unit. kobe fans are actually disaapointed with the fact the lakers are winning convincingly w/o kobe.
You have to understand that the FG% is not the issue with Kobe. Its his desire to simply stray away from the offense and focus on isolations and making highlight plays.
Kobe's much more effective at 24 points a game and focusing on being a playmaker and putting a bit more effort on defense.
Kobe's just a dumb great athlete. People talk about his smarts and all, but I honestly dont see that. If Kobe is smart, he will utilitze the strengths of his teammates.
Lebron's the perfect example of what im talking about. Mo Williams goes down and what did Bron do? He settled for less scoring and involved his teammates. he's averaging a ridiculous 10 APG since Mo went down, and Oh, he's leading the Cavs to a 12 game winning streak.
Kobe injures his fingers, what happens? Dude shoots 30 times a night making 30% of it while his teammates watch him chuck it away lol.
