    lol second chance points
O rebound doesn't mean second chance points. Again, I'm not saying the Lakers didn't feast on the boards.
I'm just saying 10 free points is 10 free points. I'm not saying
they wouldn't have won regardless. But it would have been closer,
plus, the way the game is called effects how free the opponent plays.

So the lakers win by 16. Minus 10 points on phantom , that's only
6 points with all their boards. That's bull .

10 free throws dont mean 10 free points. You still gotta make them right? just like an offensive rebound doesnt mean second chance points right?

True, but you can't compare an o board put back with an unguarded free throw. 10 ft attempts can come in any number of combos, for example let's use the Gasol 3 pt play when okafor stood there. 1pt. Fisher flop, 2 pts., and so on. You get the picture.

I can't wait for that long anticipated Mavs-Lakers series. I think it's been 25 years since they last me in the playoffs

The trash talk between the two fanbases on here is gonna be awesome

The Lakers have made mincemeat of this cliché for 2 straight years. Name one "tough" Eastern Conference team. The Heat's toughest player is Chris Bosh, the Celts don't play as physical as they used to, and the Bulls strength rests in Rose.
    - Celtics beat Lakers 3 years ago
    - KG injured 2 years ago and 3 point chucking Magic made it instead. Remember Celtics were up 3-2 on Orlando without KG
    - Celtics beat Lakers last year. We all saw the 20+ extra free throws in Game 7 and Kobe being benched in the 4th Quarter. Hey Lakers got the trophy (just like Bonds has the home run record) but as a Bulls fan it also made their front office satisfied going into this season.

If KG or Noah/Boozer go down with injuries then fine but chances are Bynum will first. Lakers will again be exposed and hopefully they don't get 20 extra free throws again

There is no way the Celtics or Bulls would allow Kobe to dunk twice on them like that. No way they would allow Gasol to hang out in the lane like that. Thunder with the Perkins deal are the same way now. It's a different team

quick question...when Celtics beat the Lakers three years ago, was Bynum injured?

lol at KG not letting Kobe dunk, but letting him comeback from a 10+ defecit.

i agree..just like last year when the lakers were -99 fts in the playoffs before the finals. So obvious Stern didnt want them in the finals.

in all seriousness the lakers dodgeed a huge bullet. the hornets shot out of their minds tonight. could have been a recipe for disaster if the bigs didnt show up. they got 43 from ariza and bellineli. this is coming from a dude who shot 30% from the 3 point line.
