Miami lost tonight against atlanta so I agree... but I just feel that Westbrook didn't learn anything from last season..

BTW Ian is again playing solid 8 pts 6 rebounds in 11 mn so far
Westbrook is a horrid PG. As much as I get on Tony for poor PG play, Russell Westbrook takes that up two notches .

Apart from Westbrook, I like OKC, like what Sam Presti has done. KD is very good, James Harden is awesome, nice team that Presti has built in OKC. I went for them after the Spurs were knocked out last season for obvious reasons (connection to the Spurs with Presti), but man, Westbrook really had me pulling out my hair. Such a horrible decision maker at PG. I'd never allow him to shoot the ball 30 times like he did in the playoffs last season if I was his coach.

It's all up to Westbrook IMO. If he gets it together PG wise, they will be good.

I agree with all you are saying, he is still somehow a SG. As of now he took 16 shots against Dallas the same than for Durant that doesn't make any sense.

I have no issue with a scoring PG like TP because he is living with high FG% shots mainly lay ups, tear drops inside... West is taking bad JS he is sometimes worst than kobe. Worst part they lost in PO because of that and he keeps doing the same .

Can someone please tell me what kind of Post moves Tim used to have? I thought he had a pretty big arsenal?

I never got to watch any of the games in his prime. I only got access to games in 2004 (10-15 a season) and consistently in 2008 (full season from there). What kind of post moves did Tim used to use back in the day? I really thought he had a pretty good repertoire. Are the knees limiting him that much?
To be honest I still believe he could score better in the post.Actually there are a few big men in the league who can score one on one in the low post. Without double team he could be effective but..... Pop wants to made him a jumpshooter

Now he's out of the paint every play

The timeberwolves are the suns of 2005.. extremely annoying to play in the regular season. They run, they gun and theyre young with TONs of athletes.

After watching a few of their games this season, I foresee them running some teams out of the gym, especially when Rubio establishes himself more into their rotation.
Except for the TON of athletes part, you just described the Spurs...

I liked the effect of Tim and Tiago on defense. Tiago has to develop some sort of offensive game to punish teams for putting shorter players on him. I liked D. Green's defense on Rubio. The teams's problem was they couldn't score late in the game. I think that's where they really miss Manu. Parker didn't step up enough with Manu out. Hopefully Neal can step up also.

Adelman will really improve the Wolves. I see them being as good as the Rockets the past two seasons.

As crazy as this sounds, I was checking out the Mavs vs Thunder game in the first quarter, and noticed on the bottom headlines that Ronny Turiaf broke his hand. For a second I thought to myself I can't remember the last time, one of our superstars had a broken hand, or serious hand injury. I guess I freaking jinxed it.

Nobody said it's gonna be easy, but there's still hope to maintain an above .500 record without Manu. For now, Spurs need to take one game at a time. Warriors shouldn't be too much of a challenge.

Hey there spurstalkers, if you're interested please check out my thoughts on the Minnesota game on Spurs of the Moment (link in my signature). I focus on the contest itself, not Manu's injury, though I hope to have an article up on that tomorrow. The article takes a look at DeJuan's rough night, the Spurs' road woes, and the lights out play of the Wolves at our D's expense. If you like what you read, or not so much, please leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts. I'm trying to work on my writing so maybe one day I could do it as an actual job, and if it could be about NBA basketball and my Spurs, well, that would be the .

    Cheers
