It's going to be a long time until a team from Canada wins the Cup. Flames, Oilers, and Canucks all choked in game 7's. The Canucks were probably Canada's best shot at getting the Cup back to Canada and they blew it and that team is done for a while.

They are still missing one of their top players - Jason Spezza - they have the best coach in the NHL, the best goalie (at least this season), a perennial Norris candidate, and they have gotten bigger and tougher
It looks like we will play in div 1 again next year
