    What do you propose?
I think the rest of the country could follow some of California's model, limiting how many guns you can purchase in a period of time, for instance. Waiting period is a good idea to make federal. They could also eliminate the gun show loophole, where background checks are often not required. Background checks could also be made more comprehensive to include mental health red flags. Perhaps like driving, there should be a test to acquire a gun license.

There will always be holes and ways for people to get guns, but I think it's a good idea for some more regulation.

But you don't think we need tighter control. It's fine to have disagreements, I guess.

I can't believe some of you guys still want more Muslims to come to this country. What is it about Islam you don't get? They hate jews execute s, make their women cover themselves from head to toe when outside. If they even suspect they're getting cucked they can bury their wife up to her neck, invite the whole town over to throw rocks at her head until she dies. All they do is pray, the only music they listen to is church songs, no alcohol, no pork, theyre like the fun police any country they immigrate to in a substantial number people die because they don't follow Islam.

Muslims are so ed up their number 1 enemy is themselves sunni vs Shia. There are Muslims on this board you can ask questions about Islam to like Ghazi. You know fellow Mavkrew member Ghazi, that Iranian Muslim living in Ohio. Ask Ghazi what is the punishment for leaving Islam

    That's why it won't work.

The time to do this was like in the 60s when they started selling assault weapons to civilians. Too late now.

    blocked.

They need to shore up that list for something like this to have a chance, way to vague as currently constructed.

I love how you're so concerned about these poor innocent people not being allowed to own a gun but apparently don't give a about them not being able to fly.

We can still take actions to limit future tragedies, even if they won't be eliminated.

But you'd prefer to cry over spilt milk and do nothing further.

    The correct answer is no.

Mass shootings do not happen in these countries ever day.

Days are not adjusted for population.
To your question yes I agree.

Was Obama correct in his claim that this just doesn't happen in other 1st world countries?

My concern for them not being able to get a gun automatically makes me concerned they aren't able to fly dip .

These amendments were DOA being attached to a bill to repeal Obamacare, nothing more than Dems wanting to say they tried but the big bad NRA stopped them.

Our strict laws didn't stop anything in San Bernardino and we aren't near the bottom of the list in gun crime either. But I do not have any problem going national with your ideas either.

you specified assault rifles, 1%? of gun murders isn't a large problem.

So now you claim to know what I look like?

Well you just shaved after Movember so that picture isn't totally accurate.

Not crying. Just saying it's too late.

    That's not an answer.

I said when they became available, genius. You really don't know anything anyone is talking about.

Well you just shaved after Movember so that picture isn't totally accurate.
    More bull .

Why do you have to make up about everything you post?

Sure, but there also states with very lax gun laws and very low gun crime. Demographics, poverty, education are better indicators of gun crime than laws on the books.

I said when they became available, genius. You really don't know anything anyone is talking about.
If they were never made available how would gun control have been different and how would handgun murders have been any different?

    More bull .

Why do you have to make up about everything you post?

I had this younger actor in mind for you but am drawing a brain drain on his name.
Was in a movie this past year with all kinds of *name* actor and actresses. P.I. that lived near the beach, investigating a murder, early 1970s setting. It bombed. It will come to me.
