Yep, got taken out with a minute left.
Pelicans and T-Pups definitely have the best odds, so good luck to y'all. Spurs aren't WCF bound however; they're out in the first round with the wrong match up (Clips, Jazz, possibly OKC).
Parker with a monster game. Makes sense to play Murray for 7 seconds.
If tonight is any indication, perhaps they should aspire to a higher seed.Good game! (From a former Crescent City resident.)
Yea it was an ugly night. We had 1 good quarter in the 2nd.
On to the next
Dedmon was anchoring the bench early in the season but he has completely fallen off & isn't taking advantage of Pau's injury.
Getting bench for Joel Anthony.
The team needs Tyson Chandler, he is playing as well as Lee except he's a LEGIT center & plays defense.
You really think so? I just think our guard rotation is too weak. Parker, Green, Mills is a horrible guard lineup that could get torched in the playoffs. The defense in the back court is too weak. There's too many great guards in the Western Conference. I don't trust them to not suck it up on defense, and I'm not sure what any of the 3 can provide on offense to make up for it.
I never felt that way at any point in the season (until now), but now I'm convinced Green's defense has slipped, and without Danny being elite on that end and missing open shots, Spurs are in trouble. This is looking very fools goldish.

Lol no... We won't make it past the second round... Won't even make it past the first if we play Utah. This team is fool's gold.
I know it was the Pelicans who, when healthy, are a matchup nightmare for the Spurs and the overall record is great, but this team just hasn't been playing well since New Years. Going up double digits only to it all away is alarming too; blowing games like that often is a characteristic of a bad team.
Not really. Spurs have been blown out by worse teams in every championship season.
When only two of your players show up, its hard to win. That was 2+ hours of my life I will never get back. Crap game. That may have been the worst performance of the year. The team looked like that stuffed themselves with red beans and rice on the day off and didn't practice.
Spurs are skilled at putting up gaudy regular season records, but will remain as playoff cannon fodder until Pop retires. The dude has lost touch with what it takes to ring.
Spurs win in Cleveland: fluke
Spurs have crappy second half in New Orleans: end of world
When was the last time that happened?
Well done
"You've really got to admire what they've done, don't worry about my coaching, you've got to give them all the credit"
Spurs current record makes evey loss sting like a punch to the gut
And to be fair you're right Pelicans deserve more credit especially on the heels in punking Cleveland so badly without Davis.
I really expected Deadman to seize the opportunity when Pau went down. He looks TURRIBLE though. I am beginning to warm to your man, Tyson Chandler. But can he keep it up for the duration of his contract - 2 more years after this one?
Give credit to NO. They played a great game.
Game in Cleveland was a fluke. Ball bounces differently one time, and Cavs win.
Losing to the Pelicans tonight was not a fluke. Showed how bad we are at defense. Pelicans are still an NBA team and will hit wide open shots. They had 15 more FGs than we did. That's not a fluke. Spurs are a fool's gold team, becoming playoff fodder in April.
Tonight's game itself doesn't worry me; like I said the Pelicans are a good team and give the Spurs loads of trouble. However, there's been a common trend in most games the past month where the Spurs are up 10+, but then right before halftime they give momentum right back and proceed to lose the game. That's a fatal flaw come playoff time.
the Pellies moved the ball better.
