From the 4:16 mark of the last Q, Ja scored Memphis’ final 13 points.
Bane was physically hobbled throughout, Brooks was ejected early and JJJ fouled out.
This was a special performance. Glad I got to witness it.
Just ing unbelievable that draymond can just give hard foul after hard foul after hard foul
and the refs just “play on”
then they finally call one and draymond goes ballistic….
lol
and draymond has actually been restrained this game compared to his usual ery
it will be a war at gs
but i cannot see how the refs will call two fair games in a row at gs
so the grizz need a lucky break or two to steal one game at gs

Incredibly WarriorRef is absent on two absolute key plays down the strech.
Currys layup was indeed goaltending. Virtually impossible to see in regular motion but i did the super slo mo and sure enough it was barely goaltending.
Now normally we would say hey 50-50 call whatever, not bad reffing. But we are talking WarriorRef here. That is AUTOMATIC goaltending in previous years.
2. The Gaymond shove on Ja. Really wasn't much of a shove. Ja did the Ginobili level theatrics well afterwords but cmon. And trust me i hate Apemond. But sure seemed like a no call was in order. Again, the incredible part is WarriorRef calling the shove on Green. Of course when Green slammed the ball on the court no call.
Anyone else semi stunned WarriorRef did not come thru in the clutch?
Wow insane performance from Ja, crazy he's only 22![]()
This is a simplistic view that minimizes the game ja had taking over when the team needed him to and no single costar, just a bunch of youngins and coach finding a group that could support him. Jaren fouling was a problem as always. Among other things. They don’t win that game without Ja and that’s what MVP’s do for you. Do not underestimate the GSW monster. I said two days ago maybe it’s the beginning of the end for them but they aren’t done.
This is what this poster replied when I posted Ja Morant would be the player I would start a team with of any player in the league,,,,,![]()
Morant having to drop 47 in order to win this ain't a good thing.
one amazing game doesn't change the fact that he's basically a skinny russ with handles![]()
2 shots stood out to me.
1 The one where instead of continuing towards the hoop in another crazy jump, he stopped reversed doing a misdirection. Sidestepped one way and the defenders totally went for it. Stopped and sidestepped the other way for the short shot. Very nice.
2. When he drove and looked like another long looping lefthanded banker was coming. Instead pulled up for the shot, stopped, switched the ball from his left hand to his right and did the shotput type jumper. Nicely done.
This kind of growth will really open up his game and clutch shooting.
only one amazing game?,,,,,,,,let me know when russ carried the Thunder to the 2 seed and 2nd round of the playoffs without Durant,,,ill wait for your response.
Jordan did the same thing when he was in the playoffs at a young age,,,,things seem to have turned out alright for him and the Bulls. Morant is gaining experience and confidence and will be deadly when he hits his prime.
Cool, now Ja Morant is Michael Jordan. And Jordan lost those series, by the way.
Where did I say Morant was Jordan?,,,,are posters really this dense on here? Simply showing a parallel between the two. And again,,,that was my point about Jordan and Morant,,,Morant wont win the le this year but he is becoming the beast he will be in coming years as the Griz build a better team around him like the Bulls did for Jordan. Just wait and see what Morant can do if he ever gets a sidekick like Jordan had in Pippen.
thinking you stumped someone with your completely re ed logic
use some more commas for dramatic effect in the meanwhile
Well here it is, folks,,,,neo got facts shoved up his ass and now he's trapped in a corner so he results to personal insults,,,,![]()
Draymond complaining about the fans being nasty about his injury is laughable not because it isn't true but because he is surprised they would cheer for him getting hurt. It shows he has a lack of awareness. He's a grade a bag and he brings out the hatred he receives on himself by the way he acts and antagonizes the crowd. He likes being the villain but hates dealing with the consequences of being the villain.

His lack of self awareness is on another level. Not to mention in the last game he's jeering/revving up the crowd and laughing when he got the Flagrant 2...
Not only did he rev up the crowd for the flagrant 2 in game 1 but he rubbed it in at the end of the game when the Warriors won with his celebrations in the tunnel which was visible to all the fans. I truly believe he is narcissist and just like a typical narcissist he believes he's never at fault for anything.
Yeah there’s a few screws loose in his head. People put his stupid antics down to ‘compe ive instincts’ and being a ‘winner’. Nah, you can be a strong compe or and not act like a narcissist and be an instigator. I was hoping for a broken nose tbh and him being out for the game.
I never thought the Warriors were that special. Klay doesnt really look that great and will probably never be his old self. Their defense is also pretty bad and they have no one that can guard Morant. Even Payton couldnt really guard him, so if he's out i dont see it as a big advantage for Memphis. Memphis was also the hottest team going into the playoffs, and that was without Morant, while Warriors were pretty bad the last 2 months of the season. Anyway, Memphis in 6.
And that they were 21-4 without him this year.
I think they'll get past Memphis. They will struggle against Phoenix. Any good team with a strong big will rip them up. The decline of Thompson is significant so far and they no longer have top tier role players.
You are changing the subject Body…
I said this before the series started, but when polled the media was 20-0 in favor of the GSW… Not even one of the media members voted that Memphis would win the series. They had no credibility and I think the media underestimated the difficulty that the Timberwolves represented for them. They were a bad matchup. Their players are bigger than the warriors, they were truly hot, going off from 3 in some games in spectacular fashion, Ant Edwards is very talented, and KAT, even with all his immaturity and faults was a bad matchup that got JJJ and their entire big men rotation in foul trouble, and was bombing 3s. Its not to say the Timberwolves are a better team than GSW, but they were a very bad matchup for Memphis.
Yet Memphis dominated GSW in the regular season and back in the play in and the longer they meet up, the less intimidated Memphis looks. I still think GSW is going to punch back, and are due to have a ridiculous shooting game, but this is a difficult series for them, and they won game 1 by only one point. The media was also overreacting to that like it was a demoralizing blowout. It wasn’t.
But I wont say this series will be easy for Memphis to win either. They are a young team, Dillon Brooks needs to rein himself in, Jaren is very inconsistent. Bane’s back is hurt and he has not looked like himself for the series, but they have 3 days rest. Hopefully that’s enough for him to recover bc I do think Dillon is getting suspended.
