the funniest thing is the NBA forcing the Magic to sign McClung to a two-way so it looks like he's an NBA player. He played a total of 5 minutes scoring 0 points this season![]()

What they should have done with the shooting part of the skills challenge is subtract 2 seconds from the team’s time for every made shot. That would have made it compe ive tbh
Take it one step further and subtract 2 secs for every shot made on 1st try, 1 second if made on 2nd try and nothing for the 3rd. Chance to shave 12 seconds off if both team members make it on 1st attempts.
All Wemby and Paul did was expose what a ing stupid compe ion this skills thing actually is with the way its constructed
Have a 'skills' contest and one of the most basic skills is not actually required to be completed.
NBA:We don't want our players to be embarrassed if they can't make the shot
Also, is it just me or dig the passing rings look bigger? Any pickup baller could make those passes
Except Donkey.
Awesome stuff by Wemby and CP3, I like thinking out of the box.
A Castle did basketball dunks, not some with ing Kia in the middle of the court.
The dunk champion should be the guy with the best combined 5 dunks of the regular season. This would make trash time more interesting, and make players decide if they were going to risk missing a dunk during a breakaway in a close game.
Steph lost. Get over it.
Regarding who was first on Castle (Rascal), I think if you looked at the film, rankings, and our draft spot he was the clear choice. But, we were so desperate for a point guard it put the Kentucky PGs of Sheppard and Dilly firmly in play. We can just thank our stars Sheppard went #3. Part of the high intrigue of Castle was that he had the possibility to play PG, at least according to him. But I'd venture to say none of us knew that he could pass the ball with the precision, flair, and court vision that he has.
The main argument I recall was Dilly over Castle at 4. I felt pretty strongly that not only was Castle better, but that Dilly would be there at 8 while Castle would certainly not be. I guess some people wanted Holland over Castle, but I don't think that or any other names gained a lot of traction at the 4-spot discussion.
Why are you so passionate about Mac McClung? It's like people are dissing your mama or something
Learn to read moron, he shouted me out twice after I stopped discussing it.
And you seem to be taking it awfully personally.
As I said last night, McClung probably deserved the win because he is the NBA's dancing monkey for dunks, and yes...it IS a dunk contest. He truly did some things we'd never seen before.
People are also allowed to root for our boy who rightfully deserved to win, and probably would've if he wasn't going up against a circus act who happens to play in the GLeague.
Castle put his reputation on the line as a rookie and pulled off some amazing, PURE dunks without a bunch of props and smoke and mirrors...and that's what I miss from the dunk contest.
Not trying to hate, just trying to explain the sentiment
Don't deflect. You are personally affected because you chose to ignore the shoutouts I was obviously responding to in order to try and get a dig in at me.
Stop pretending to care about the dunk contest and get over it, loser. lol
Love you buddy![]()
not sure on what grounds did wemby get disqualified
Those are size of pacific ocean
I almost went to that game lol
I noticed the skills course gives you 9 3pt attempts, same 9 3pa's Wembolbol's averaging this season.
Would the end result have been any different had he actually tried? Not so sure tbh![]()
I won't. Why does it bother you so much?![]()
I mean, they definitely wouldn't have been disqualified![]()
I would've liked to see them actually compete and win, but in retrospect this is even funnier because they basically said "your rules are stupid" and then the NBA kicked them out and wouldn't even let them talk about it...probably because they know the rules are stupid.
Scrap the skills challenge if they're going to make it easy and non-embarrassing for the players. I'd rather see a HORSE challenge. LOL at the Magic being forced to sign McClung just so he can do his four push off dunks in the dunk contest.
They tried HORSE a few years and was similarly boring. No creativity, guys didn't want to participate or embarrass themselves and it basically turned into a three-point contest
I think 2v2 or 3v3 would be fun but players will never go for it
