My thought was that he and James were keeping your boys in the game...They both combined for 91 pts...damn
James and Bosh combined for 66.

Throw in Peterson and they totaled 91 points.

more like 86. But either way, Bosh is becoming pretty good at the offensive side of the court. Only thing he has to really work on his defense.

I actually felt kinda split on this game. Should i root for my team the spurs, or for my hometown team to win so they can keep in the playoff race.

What did you guys think of Bosh's game?

Obviously he's closer to horrible than average on the defensive end, but I really feel as though he is capable of being a dominant offensive player.
I think he's awesome .. or I should say he'll be awesome eventually. But I thought it was interesting that he didn't touch the ball in the whole OT when the Spurs switched Bowen on to him. I know it's partly because your guards were ballhogging, but also because Bowen frustrated him a lot by fronting him.

    Rasho

they combined for less than that.

Them and Peterson combined mighta had 91.
That could be...I'm my excitement at the pace of the game, I caught the tail end of a commentator saying that they combined for 91 pts....

What do I think of Bosh?

Id trade Nesterovic, Mohammed, Oberto, and Marks for him right now.

Id run with Horry and Bosh as my two bigs for the rest of the year.

Thats how goddamn good he is.

James, Bosh and Peterson combined for 91, not James and Bosh.

But, Mike James's play was disgraceful in the late 4th and OT IMO. This is the perfect example of somebody playing for a contract. Some GM is going to be duped into throwing $8 million a year at him this offseason because they'll see the stat-line of tonight's game and be wowed. Too bad the statline doesn't show Mike James, hot hand or not, chucking up horrible shots throughout crunch time. The statline doesn't show Mike James chucking up a prayer from 3/4 of the court deep when the Raptors had plenty of time to call a TO and run a play after the Bowen shot was blocked at the end of regulation. The statline doesn't show Mike James not getting Chris Bosh, who was 11-18 from the field and no Spur had shown capable of defending, a SINGLE touch in all of overtime. I've never seen such selfish basketball in my life.

    Yep!

I think Ivan worked out of Shavano Park last year and he might work out of Seguin now. He was thinking of going to H-town, but I do not know if he is still considering that. He and his family may move here to College Station. I miss San Antonio...
That's him...tell that Biotch that Beckie says hi and I will definately try to get out to the GTG on Friday!

Dude, you can't totally blame that on Mike James.

Bosh didn't work hard enough for it. Bowen was playing great defense, and Bosh let himself get locked up. It's hard to get him the ball the way he was being defended, and Bosh didn't work hard enough to get himself good spacing to do something.

Oh, I think he tried to get him the ball -- Bowen was just in the way for the sets they were running. By the time James figured out he caouldn't get him the ball, there wasn't enough time to find any other options (alot of standing around)-- that made it much easier for him to go Franchise on every play.

That was pretty horrific play - even worse than what Francis used to do to Yao. I kept expecting Bosh to just take over once all our bigs fouled out but it never happened. I'd be pissed as if I were a Raptor fan.

COOL! I will tell him! He's my buddy! SONOFA gave my wife a t.u. singing bottle opener for Christmas in 04 (She's an Aggie). He still has the Opener and, ironically, they may be moving here for his wife to finish her PhD with my wife. The Bas ...(said in a George Costanza kinda way).

True. Now, I guaranTEE that Carlos Arroyo woulda fired some bullets to Bosh to get him going; don't you think he'd be a MUCH better fit than James? Wanna trade? We might even toss in a draft pick, or a Serbian development project.....

No man, this happens almost everytime we don't send Calderon out to handle the ball in OT. The standing around is just James taking the clock down so that he has to take the shot himself. I've seen this happen many times already this season. Granted a lot of James' chucked shots went in tonight, but we won't be so lucky all the time.

And a key block. I thought Nazr played very well in OT. We couldn't buy a rebound until after he was subbed in.
20 minutes- 3 rebounds. Not impressive. He showed up on one play tonight. You don't get to act like you saved the game when you sucked for 19 1/2 minutes. There's a reason Pop wouldn't put him back in until after all 5 other bigs were incapacitated. He decided he would rather go small when Rasho fouled out than play Nazr.

And I am still trying ot figure out what big rebound you are even talking about. He didn't have a single rebound the last 3 1/2 minutes of the game.

Honestly? I had Season Tix in the South risers of the Alamodome and I friggin hated the man I called "POCK-O- ".

Seasons change, the team remains. And I will tell you this. You make a good point. If anyone says they have always loved Pop, they are either lying or are only Spurs Fans AD (After Duncan).

Whoosh! What a game! I got to see bits and pieces of it while I was at work.

That last putback by Sho was gorgeous. A little better defense at the other end and he would have scored the game winner. One of these days... I'm telling you.
    Fear the Sho!

Tony and Kiwi were awesome. Everyone contributed which to me makes it an even greater win.Good to see Rob back as well.

P.S. I couldn't see. Was Timmy in the building and what was he wearing?

All he had to do was lob it over Bowen. The help defense would come and Bosh would either draw a foul or kick it out and find the open man for an open shot.
