These 2 teams are the most evenly matched of any in the playoffs. But we should be kicking their asses!!!
God it's ok to think outside staying within the lines...Parker is a great offensive weapon, but some Spurs fans need to take the blinders off....
Nash made a play that won game 1 against the Lakers and was quoted that D'Antoni didn't agree with his decision, "I wasn't gonna listen to him anyway" on the play...
IF Parker wants to step up, he needs to take what he can from his coach, but start thinking for himself while on the court...Look at HIS PLAYERS. I've seen some times where he skipped out on a higher percentage open look, for favor of running into the crowd... Parker needs to start getting out of that "he's only 23" mentality, if he wants to be elite...elite players conspire with the coach.

If Tim guards Dirk for very long at all, he will foul out! What do you think our chances are of winning a game down the stretch if Tim Duncan has fouled out of the game? I guess you think Rasho can guard Dirk out on the perimeter?

It'd be nice if Tony lets the other players besides Duncan play some offense also. He wants to be a one-man show. And isn't it pitiful that the Little General can put in s bags like Van Horn and Mbenga and Pop is afraid to use Raso and Mohammed?
No wonder barkley has given up on the Spurs.
Duncan is playing as well as I've ever seen him play but he needs help on the rebounding.
If he's too hurt to make layups and jump shots, perhaps he should try to set up his teammates and PASS THE BALL. He can give it to Tim, but it's like against his personal religion to give it to anyone else.
We need some stops down the stretch. Tim is going to get 50 tonight, and Tony 30+. Now get Manu involved. Get the bench invovled. Stick it out to the end. 24 minutes to go.

Not so bad. Tim will continue to play well, whenever he is on a roll like this, it goes all game. He will continue to pound inside and draw more fouls (if Spurs are smart). Manu or Tony will start to come on. Throw in a few Horry/Barry 3 pointers and we are good to go !!
Agreed. We need to give it a try at least. We MUST keep the Mavs guards from going to the bucket at will. It is killing us.

The defense started going downhill when Nazr made a three pointer against the queens. Believe it.

What lame calls? The Mavs are the ones on the negative end of the "lame calls". Twice the Spurs knocked the ball out of bounds when they knocked the ball out of the Mavs hands. And twice the officials awarded the ball to the Spurs. Now that's lame.

The Spurs can really beat this team...they shouldn't worry about which individuals get theres.. and just play, let manu play as the first option as the result...but really, Spurs need to quit worrying if they can outscore the MAVS and just put them away in this game by doing what they've always done. DEFENSE...GOD WE NEED RASHO!
