    Here's another easy one:

How many times did Tim Duncan lead the Spurs in single game scoring during October and November of his rookie season (they played 16 games)?

    1. DRob, Bird, Magic and Jabbar
Drob, Bird and Magic are right...Jabbar isn't...Kareem actually had a last place season once.

    2. Drob, Russell
Yessssssss good answer. Drob and Bill Russell are the only two I know of that did this. IF anyone else can debunk this feel free to do so.

    3. DRob, Shaq and Dream
No, no Shaq and Hakeem. First 3 to do it.

    4. Paxon
    Sigh

    5. Drob and Shaq
Nope. Drob is right but Shaq isn't.

Jim, you should know by now that I am not going to ask any questions that make Shaq look good...

Still pretty impressive he did it in the playoffs...

See he's not even in this yet...and I know he did it against Phoenix.
You should write to the NBA and tell them to update their freakin' record books on-line. Wonder if David's game shows up in the NBA Guide?

Hey you never told me if I got your sweep questions right...or how far off I was.
Spurs have 5 sweeps (which I think you got)
    1990 First Round v. DEN (3-0)
    1995 First Round v. DEN (3-0)
    1999 WCSF v. LAL (4-0)
    1999 WCF v. PRT (4-0)
    2004 First Round v. MEM (4-0)

Spurs have been swept 6 times (I think you missed one)
    1977 First Round v. BOS (0-2)
1982 WCF v. LAL (0-4) (I didn't see that you answered that one)
    1986 First Round v. LAL (0-3)
    1988 First Round v. LAL (0-3)
    1992 First Round v. PNX (0-3)
    2001 WCF v. LAL (0-4)

I missed the 4th sweep at the hands of the evil empire. I was thinking the 82 1 happened in like 84 or 85 or something. Damn the LA Lakers to . 4 sweeps? Evil. Truly Evil.

FWDT, I still need all but two of my questions answered...

Still a 4th guy that never finished lower than second.

Still two other guys need to be named that finished in the top 10 in 5 different stat cats...before Drob did it.

Still need the other guy besides Drob to lead a post season in blocks and rebounds per game...those last 2 should be farily easy to answer...cheat...the same page contains the answers to both.

Did anyone answer Jim's question regarding the ex-Spur from Philly that went to Overbrook High?

How about Nate "Day-Day" Caldwell? He was from Philly

Also, I remembered who the 3rd guy was who played in the AAUs with Shaq and Charles Outlaw - Ski Jones, but I see that FWD posted the answer. It was up there in my memory but somehow forgot that he was in that same group, year. When the hint was given about the son of former NBA player, I remembered immediately.

Okay. What H.S. did Ski Jones go to? (It was not Cole, nor John Jay).

The answer is Mike Sugar Gale

Duh, the answer was right in front of you...that is why I asked the question.

Y'know, 20-30 years ago I probably knew this.

    Damn, getting old sucks.

Okay, here's another Spurs trivia question, Jeopardy-style:

And the answer is . . . Jack Madden.

Correct, timvp and slayermin. timvp answered first, however. Askia Jones.

No, it's officially Askia, but he always went by Ski while in school, and yes, it was at Marshall.

NBA official Bennie Adams holds a dubious Spurs-related distinction. What is that distinction?

I was looking around to see if he's the only one, but he's certainly the last -- March 28, 2000 in Portland. Nicely done, spurminator.

He was ejected before that, if I recall... got into a sort of shoving match with Harvey Grant under the basket one time and both players were ejected.

They should have replayed the .4 sec game as well.

BTW, did that clock keeper get his ass fired like he should have? Or if it was the refs that started the clock, did he get his ass fired?

I actually forgot about that one.

But there's another, more infamous call that Madden made against the Spurs . . .

Me knowing pointless Spurs trivia actually came in handy the other day.

After the home game against the Magic, I stayed after the game (while I was waiting for Kori to finish her interviews) to watch "Chalk Talk" with Robert Horry. Chalk Talk is this post game thing the Spurs do sometimes where they get a player to come out and Sean Elliott asks them questions.

Horry comes out and after a short introduction, Elliott asks:

"What do me and Robert Horry have in common?"

Right away I knew what he was talking about. But then people in the crowd (it was about 1000 peeps) started guessing. Horrible guesses. Everything from "You both went to a college that started with an 'A'" to "You are both sons in the eyes of God" to "You both like to shoot three-pointers". Elliott took like 20 different guesses. I was going to raise my hand and tell the answer but I was in the furthest back corner by myself and I had to leave any second to go meet Kori.

Then Elliott was going to say the answer and Horry told him to stop and that he wasn't going to let the Chalk Talk begin without someone getting this question right. So after like 10 more bad guesses, I got tired of seeing Spurs fans getting embarrassed so I raised my hand and told the correct answer. Elliott and Horry were thankful that someone got the question right and the Spurs fans around me thought I was some basketball genius.

But to me, it was a simple question. So I'll ask you:

"What do Sean Elliott and Robert Horry have in common?"
