SI.com: So what's next for you? Have you been told your next opponent?

Liddell: Possibly Mauricia "Shogun" Hua. That's what they're saying. If it's the June fight, it will probably be in London. But my trainer is trying to get it moved to Vegas. Too far. (Liddell is based in San Luis Obispo, Calif.)

    ***************************************

Look how they spelled his name!!!!!

lol...very knowledgeable MMA reporters over at SI...

Diaz is having surgery on his brow to remove scar tissue, and to grind down the bones so he's less susceptible to cuts...

The latest listings (ufc.com and mmaweekly.com) have Sammy Schiavo vs. Clay Guida as an undercard for the April Fight Night. Clay Guida on the undercard? Seriously, I find that a bit outrageous.

I think it's part of their campaign to motivate people on forums to hound e TV to make the cards 3 hours. Dana White says he wants to do it but it's all up to eTV.

Oh, that's interesting. I hadn't thought of that before. Well , maybe I'll fall into the trap and hound e along with the rest of the herd

Now keep in mind I am assuming that is the exact reason.

Even though Zuffa will never admit it they know what goes on in forums and they know everyone loves them some Clay Guida so I find it quite a coincidence that he gets put on an undercard for the same fight he mentions he would like to change how e does fights.

    Not just Guida...

    -Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard
    -Marcus Aurelio vs. Spencer Fisher
    -Din Thomas vs. Josh Neer
    -Clay Guida vs. Samy Schiavo

Any of those are worthy of a main card slot on a UFN...definitely not an undercard!! I don't get that card...it's like it ended up with way too much on it for some reason. I'm not complaining I do hope it ends up being 3 hrs. Regardless, I'll be downloading every fight that doesn't air the next day so whatever...

If you guys haven't already, please ensure that you email eTV to move the UFN 13 card to a 3 hour block. Follow the link for a basic email template

I don't know why e doesn't just go ahead and show every fight of every card. Their programming sucks. Most of it is garbage B-level TV programming that is 5+ years old. It's a freaking re-run channel.

If I was them I would do everything I could do show as much UFC as possible. That's how channels get started…they saturate their most vocal audience with what they want.

That's what my husband said when I told him about this: "It should be three hours. Who the wants to watch CSI reruns from 2004?"

Considering they paid the UFC roughly 100 million for TV rights they should squeeze every minute of live UFC airtime as possible.

Hey you still running with U-Verse?

I finally got my refund check this week but I still have all of their equipment because they can't seem to send me a box in the mail to return it. Countless phone calls. I have given up.

    4 months and ticking...

    From mmajunkie:

UFC Fight Night 13 will be a three-hour broadcast on e TV, after all.

The UFC has made no official announcement, and e TV could not confirm the news, but a source close to the event exclusively told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that April 2’s UFC Fight Night 13 event will, in fact, run three hours.

The event takes place at the Broomfield Event Center near Denver, Colo., and features what is perhaps the most talent-rich fight card in e TV history. Kenny Florian and Joe Lauzon meet in the night’s main event, while fan favorites such as Clay Guida, Matt Hamill, Karo Parisyan, Frankie Edgar and Houston Alexander fill out the undercard.

The MMA fanbase recently kicked off a letter-writing campaign to e TV executives asking that the broadcast run three hours rather than the usual two. UFC President Dana White recently stated that the decision was e TV’s — and e TV’s alone — to make, which prompted a campaign fueled by MMA blogs and message boards.

UFC Fight Night 13 will serve as a lead-in for “The Ultimate Fighter 7,” the latest installment of the UFC and e TV’s hit reality series. The seventh season of the show, which will feature 32 UFC middleweight hopefuls, includes UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton Jackson and the original winner of “The Ultimate Fighter,” Forrest Griffin, as coaches.

e TV will likely announced news of the three-hour broadcast, as well as an updated televised card, this week, we’re told. With the late switch of Tim Boetsch for Stephan Bonnar, and the inclusion of additional televised bouts, the official card released by the UFC last week is expected to change.
