So Beno got motivated for the first time in approximately 175 NBA games. What a gutless jerk.

Just remember Sacramento, you can't trust this guy. He will tease you a little bit like tonight and then quit on you when the going gets tough and the pressure to perform increases. Keep in mind he is now on a one year contract and may have finally realized his NBA career was hanging in the balance.

With Mike Bibby coming back soon, Beno will actually exert himself for the next 10-15 games to showcase himself before heading back to the bench. If a team provides Beno with a mult-year contract for good money, that team will be sorry. He will catch a ride on the gravy train as soon as his signature on a new contract dries.

This little "performance" tonight proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that this turd stole $4-5 Million from the Spurs (and the fans who pay for tickets).

Yup, 'ol Beno really showed up mean old coach Pop. He really punished that bad old coach who is guilty of doing his job and realizing last year he had to get a more effective alternative at the backup PG spot.

A heartless, lazy player who quits on a champoinship caliber team is simply not worth the trouble.

that lazy thing came out after Beno was traded. I never heard Pop talked about him being lazy while he was here.

well, I'm just weary PGs are hard to come by. And we had him here for so long, learned the system then we let him go and chose an aging one instead.

You think Vaughn is capable of delivering what TP can if any injury(knock on wood), happens to TP?

okay I think you'll just answer there's Manu or Brent. No need to answer
There's Darius Washington. He's raw, but he's more a Spur than Beno ever was.

Spurs must have karma working on their side if they blow a game that they conceivably would have lost anyway since it was the seventh game they played in five days, and the Suns and Mavericks lose on the same night too.

Heed this as a wake-up call Spurs - you cannot rely on offence to win
    Im sure they know that.

Im sure Pop will preach that in practice tommarow.

    Seriously.

November. game 15. 7th game in 5 nights.

Defending champions. Can anyone cut em a bit o slack?

But I'd like to ask Pops why he chose Vaughn > Beno?
    Simple.

Cause Vaugh hustles, plays defense, and takes care of the basketball.

He also gives 110% in the time out on the court.

    Unlike captain off.

I opened a local news site and as I've predicted the sports headlines for today:

Udrih fires 27 vs former team, leads Kings over Spurs

Slack is for suckers like Beno!

Seriously, no big deal with this game, many are just pissed (myself included) that the Spurs didn't put the smack down on Beno for being the waste of space he was for 3 years.

I wonder if Pop, knowing how the game turned out anyway, would practically sit TD and TP and give Washington, Udoka, Elson, Bonner, Barry, and Vaughn (along with limited minutes from Manu) bigger minutes and let them fight this game out? That would have been interesting to see since apparently Parker and Duncan were gassed from the get-go.

I am so glad that BENO kicked your Texas asses out of space and showed you and so called @Slomo who was the best point guard in your team for the past three years!

I'm not really disappointed for TP not showing tonight. I'd still take TP over Beno.

But I'd like to ask Pops why he chose Vaughn > Beno?

    head-scratcher!

    Beno still has a vagina.

Heh...that's why I'm not bumming over the loss...because the Suns and Mavs lost last night, too...
