Exactly.
2-point loss. More importantly Barry's back.
I would have to watch it again but I don't think manu had enough time to drive to the basket. I think he got to the jumper in the nick of time. but as i said i have to watch it again.
Never said that. I'm here for 15-20 minutes every few days for various reasons. Sometimes I engage in intelligent dialog with intelligent Spurs fans, which I enjoy. It's a rarity, but it happens.
I knew you'd miss me![]()
pop never calls a timeout to setup a potentially game-winning play in the regular season. he knows he has a team of veteran players that have won championships. he wants his guys to sort things out on their own. that said, i still wish manu called a timeout to set up the play. still, gotta love his guts.
I might be your type as long as you don't troll the forums every time the spurs lose... other than that I'll toss you to the lions to get raped.
You're definitely the cream of the crop as far as that goes. And I'd have to throw td21mvp (or whatever his name is) and 1-2 others into the hat as well.
You can talk all you want.
But don't dismiss 4 championship with a lame "YOU didn't win any rings, THEY did".
You're point is just....stupid. Why do the Spurs have a big parade after championships to thank the fans? Why are the Spurs such a big part of the community? It's because the Fans are a HUGE part of what the Spurs do.
But I guess you, being a Mavs fan, wouldn't know much about that. You know, parades, and all.
P.S - Yes, any fan that only uses the 'count the rings' argument is re ed. But equally re ed is the other fan whose only response is 'durrrr you dont have any of the rings, they do'.
It was about 5 seconds I think to run the whole court. He had about 1 second to drive to the basket, but maybe Manu thought it was for the best. Bad shot though, maybe only Kobe could have pulled that one.
That was some awful officiating. The Spurs were attacking but couldn't buy a call whereas the Cavs whether attacking or on jumpers were getting the calls.
Now it wasn't all on the refs as the Spurs went through stretches where they were not passing the ball. Pop even commented on how the ball movement for the last month hasn't been there at all.
The big 3 did their thing though at times they turned it over or forced the issue too much.
Nothing out of Elson, Bonner, Oberto, or Vaughn.
Udoka was ok and should at least provide some rest for Bowen. Obviously he's not going to guard guys like Baron, Lebron, Howard like Bowen does but it's nice having him for an option to throw out there.
I knew Finley would struggle with the return of Barry. Pop's really messed with his minutes though. Instead of sitting him around the 6 minute mark he's pulling at the 7 minute mark in the 1st quarter and in the 3rd pulling him at the 10 minute mark. Not to mention his shot attempts/touches are going down. Thankfully he's not pouting about it.
It was good to see Barry out there again. A few mistakes but his first game back after injury it's to be expected.
Hey, I rented a car in San Antonio -- those rings are mine as much as anyone else's.
NEVER LET THEM INSULT YOUR FANHOOD.![]()
Then don't say "why else would i come on here"
Bro--check it
Spurs organisation, coach, staff and players 4
Avery, Cuban, Dirk 0
feel better.
at least Avery has one....with the Spurs.![]()
Good move.
he was hitting his shots all game long. and 5 seconds is a lot of time to set up a play.
His name is td4mvp21
Still don't think you're getting it man. Maybe you should go back and actually examine the comment that made me say that. Fans have every right to be proud, but if you say "You can't talk until you win one", I'm gonna call out that bull every single time. I'll talk if I want, and guess what--I'll do it more intelligently than most of the crew on here.
Frankly, one of the most interesting things to me is seeing how quickly 75% of Spurs fans go to that as a response to anything a Mavs fan says. Anything.
There it is. Sorry bout that. I didn't wanna go look it up.
Alright, I'll stop being interesting then.
It was a good shot by Manu...it just didn't fall...oh, well...it shouldn't have had to come down to a last-second shot like that, anyway...the Spurs should have won this one by 10 points. No energy at all until the end of the 3rd quarter and way too many stupid mistakes.
