lol Can we trade Manu, Tim, Tony, Bruce to Detroit for the rest of this season then trade them back next season? They don't deserve this e. The reserves need to get their heads out of their asses.

If we win the champ I will be ecstatic to have been proven wrong.

I never give up hope, but it's pretty obvious that this team is currently outclassed by most of the contenders.

so true my friend!!!! Can't win them all.

Does anyone else notice how unalthetic this team is that we don't have one player that can dunk from a lob pass! I guarantee we are the only NBA team that can say that!

Tim gets 6 RBs in 36 minutes?
He gets that many in single quarters.

anyone else notice how it looks like Pop can't coach anymore either? His rotations and his refusal to ever bench Finley?

I don't like the fact that Manu (as exhausted and injured as he is) had to play almost 40 minutes tonight.

Unfortunately, with no one except the Big Four playing any decent basketball, Pop had no choice...

The sad part is that even if The Big Three plays really good, it is not enough because no one else contributes...

The team has become a team of 3-4 players, that's it...

Hence, the main players are getting huge minutes...are playing solid basketball...yet still loosing due to no contribution from the role players...

If I were Manu/Tim/Tony, I'd set up a team meeting or something and really talk to Finley/Stoudemire/Vaughn/Bonner/etc...and maybe give them a pep talk or something...or just a little push. This is the time when the leaders need to get together and really talk to the other players...

yeah I'm also mad the Spurs didn't put themselves in a positin to win sooner.

Also we won't get to see his dunk in the NBA recaps. Instead it's going to stupid ANDRE MILLER "torching" us.

He didn't throw in the towel - the starters were getting owned, so he put in an energy lineup, and they went on a run!

There is a lot of revisionist history going on right now.

NOPE I don't like giving up like that. Any way you want to slice it that's waiving the white flag. That was way too early to do that. If the lead got to 20 then you make that switch. It was still a game at that point. Pop basically said you guys ain't good enough to do this so we'll quit here and now. F- THAT .

"Let's tank and get in the lottery"

Spurs only only 2 Ls out of 9th place. I have no confidence they can keep themselves out of 9th place.

I don't remember hearing the Spurs doing Players Only Meetings.

    Have they?
Have they not because they've never needed to before?
    Or did I miss it?

At this point, I just want them to get in the playoffs...whether 5th or 6th or 8th...

Denver/Golden State are fighting for the last spot at the moment.

Spurs need to pick it up...they need to get at least the 8th spot...

They should have a barbecue and throw Finley and Damon on the grill.

He never did anything on the court. but his motivation is an x-factor much like darrell armstrong.

    Pop made a boo-boo,

I don't care to agree with the white flag with 6 minutes left, it left a lot of non-Spurs fans puzzled.

If Pop waved it at 3 minutes I'd understand but 15 points is EASILY overcome, and would have given us momentum against the Suns on Sunday. Instead the loss probably made them self-aware that they' were in for a tiring road trip.
It was lame to send a message to VETERAN players in that winnable game.

I'm not really sure...I think I might have heard about them having meetings before from somewhere. I bet Kori would know better though.

I think they need it now, though.

Yeah, motivation isn't going to make Finley, Damon, Vaughn, all of sudden become younger. I guarantee Tim, Tony and Manu all motivate and encourage everyone on their team.

With Gasol out for the next 2 weeks Lakers aren't going to be in the first spot.

The whole bench playing on such a level right now, Pop's only real decisions is determinating who is going to receive the most hate here today.

Im really upset about the bad defense and ty rebounding. They forced 2 turnovers in 46 minutes of the game...

I remember the times of Malik getting on the floor and firing up that sorry ass crowd in San Antonio. But yeah, your probably right.

Of course they do...They're very supportive of each other.

But I think they need more of an actual team meeting, just the players talking about how they can improve together as a team.
