Apparently the Spurs keep telling themselves the Suns will start missing because there is NO intensity on defense at all. This is really mediocre defense.

Good offense by Suns but some bad defense as well by Spurs.

I give Amare credit. He seems to be maturing with the media a bit.

The Spurs just have a way of sticking around in the 1st half even when their opponent is playing the best they could possibly play. Make no mistake, the Suns are clicking at 100% right now. Time for the law of averages and playoff Spurs D to bring the Suns down.

When has 54 points being scored not a good half. You have to tip your hat to the suns that half....they put the basket in the hole...simple as that. Our defense was fairly solid but they just made good shots. If anyone shoots 64% for a whole game...they would never lose. If the Spurs play another solid half...they will win! The Suns will probably finish the game around 50%. Give the guys a break...if the Suns would of missed just 3 of their shots they made...this would be a tied game.

I think you'll see more Bowen on Nash in the 2nd half. I also think you'll see some different looks and maybe even a bit of zone to slow down Amare. I can live with him hitting jumpers but we need to make him miss at some point. He's getting fed in perfect spots by Nash.

I don't want to see anymore traps off of the screens, though. The Suns are way too good at moving the ball for that to work without some tremendous weakside help which isn't going to come unless you play Horry more and he's healthy. Even then, I just think its risking a lot.
