Any straight up deal from Boston will have to include either Kyrie, Hayward, or two of Morris, Brown or Tatum.
Thought so... So he'd probably be cool with that

What the frick!? I did NOT order that...I ordered an XBox card!
RC and Pop couldn't even make it a full two weeks, i told you they don't have the stomach for this.
Jabari has been very quiet for awhile now in regards to this whole Kawhi situation
Apparently all you have to do to be a reputable journalist these days is throw out every possibility and then act like a prophet when one of them inevitably develops.
Woj's follow up tweet probably came following push back from the Spurs
Wait so they didn't even offer the Supermax??? Wtf is going on?
His uncle is holding out for the supermax. The Spurs are not wanting to offer it until they get the 100 from the medical standpoint
Ingram is a huge question mark, Kuzma is a warm body, and those picks will be , once Kawhi gets there.
Fultz has both a higher ceiling and lower floor than Ingram, Saric is...euro Kuzma, but that pick...that 2021 Miami pick is UNPROTECTED and could win you the lottery. Even Boston's Sacto is top 1 protected against a lottery win.
There have never been reports that Kawhi turned down the supermax.
Only dumbass Laker fans and casual fans thought that Leonard turned it down.
The Supermax requires some trust it would seem.
What would prevent Kawhi from signing the SuperMax (with a no-trade) then sitting out another season and demanding a trade to the Lakers.
The Spurs would probably get even less and Kawhi would get his Supermax (which the Lakers couldn't otherwise offer him).
Without trust, nothing works.
Woj said they're fully engaged in trade talks.
3 Way bidding war between Boston, Philly and LA is nice.
Hey Ainge, if Justice Winslow was worth 4 #1 picks to you, we expect a lot more for Kawhi...![]()
Kyrie is a nice piece alongside another star. But you are getting him for 1 year. I think he goes to Brooklyn next year.
Its a negotiating tactic, they are playing the "We have lots of options we may just keep him and lock him up". Teams like the Lakers panic and it ups the trade package. He will be traded.
Woj saying they're fully engaged in trade talks and Stein saying they're ready to move on from Kawhi. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets moved in the next 24 hours.
I really hope I'm wrong.
I wasn't sure. I thought there was a bit maybe a week before it was reported Leonard wanted out that the Spurs were willing to offer the Supermax now. With all the other tweets about the Spurs being hopeful to keep him, I figured the SM was on the table. Guess not.
I get what you're saying but the Spurs were on his preferred list a year ago of teams that he wanted to play for.
I think he gets moved before FA starts.
That was also when he had Kawhi and LMA to play alongside.
