A good read for those who might have interest in the Jimbo situation and are just as lost as I was.
24/7 feels that more than likely the following players will declare for the draft (as of today) and not play their senior season:
Connor Williams who has already announced (1st round pick)
Malik Jefferson (1st-3rd round pick)
DeShon Elliott (1st-3rd round pick)
Holton Hill (3rd-5th round pick)
Kris Boyd (TBD)
Charles Omenihu (TBD)
Michael son (3rd-5th round pick)
I wouldn't expect all of these names to go, but they feel from their sources these guys are leaning that way.
Also, this doesn't necessarily mean they will skip the bowl game, like Connor, who I believe is doing so to get healthy. I just don't think he was even close to 100% the last 2 games he played.

How is A&M a better job than Fla St
Jimbo to A&M has been done for two weeks now. smh.
In the end... that's all that matters.
1. A&M by no means compares to Florida States winning tradition on the football field, that's obvious. However, one of the main reasons of this has been coaching which A&M is trying to finally address.
2. Florida State is sadly mistaken if they think they stand toe to toe with A&M in regard to head coach salary, assistant coaching salaries, amount of football staff/personnel, overall university endowment, football stadium, football only facilities, fan support, etc.
Obviously Florida State has historically been a better "program" in comparison to A&M, but as of today in 2017 - A&M is the better job and Jimbo apparently agrees. Hence, they are on the verge of officially poaching 1 of the 4 current active coaches who has one a national le.
FWIW, Florida State 24/7 thinks Jimbo could be gone by tomorrow and will skip the last game.
Great get for the Ags.
Hopefully we can all keep the pissing to a minimum and not derail the thread with so much going on.
Well now the Aggies can deal with Jimbo threatening to leave after every season.
Sorry I wasn't more clear on the post with the article. My confusion on the entire deal has been how the Seminoles could be so readily willing to let Jimbo walk. The article clearly states why he and the school are at odds. I think the last few days we've all known the deal was going to happen, the le article is deceiving it states a lot of ifs...
#1 isn't a reason
#2 better salary=/=better job. Look at Tennessee
And all that extra money, facilities, etc = extra pressure to win right now.
the sec move has made a&m the joneses................facts r facts..............
a&m has surpasses texas in every major mens sports..........................revenue........... .....texas couldnt land tim brewster a&m is going to land brewster...............
props DesignatedT
Thanks boss. You've always been the smart one of the thread (besides TFloss).

24/7 published an update today on the UT players considering going pro.
Basically, everything they're hearing indicates that LB Malik Jefferson, CB Holton Hill and S DeShon Elliott will declare for the NFL Draft.
Their sources are also telling them that CB Kris Boyd and DE Charles Omenihu will declare, and the UT staff is preparing for Boyd to leave.
The only question mark that remains is P Michael son because his stock can't possibly get any higher due to his historically productive year.
Curious how current Seminoles and Houston natives Dontavious Jackson and Marvin Wilson feel about this. Care to transfer into your second school of choice, Texas?

The out of the closet Aggie?
Of course he is smart to another Aggie.
You guys may have got a great name hire. I'm just glad Chip Kelley and the Iowa State coach bypassed.

Just default to this if things don't go well.
Absolutely.
