A new name to keep an eye on for the 2020 class is WR Quentin Johnston of Temple.
He's a big kid at 6-4, apparently an elite high jumper and is racking up TDs for Temple this year.
He was recently offered by OU and TCU.

I'm going on the record and saying Lewis and Powell are both takes for us. The film shows this, IMO. The staff must feel Higgins isn't happening and i'm fine with Lewis in his place.

I see him as an offensive player, but he could end up on D. Very versatile athlete, IMO.
Holland has done the same.
To tell you how serious UT is about ATH Peyton Powell, some of the coaches are headed to West Texas this morning to see him according to 24/7.
They're also saying taking a commitment from Powell isn't seen as affecting WR numbers since he's viewed as a pure ATH.
Several prospects there, including 2020 CB Lorando Johnson.

I was responding to the Heisman talk if you look back.
Then you responded to me on apparently a different subject which I did not pick up on.
I guess.
'
he was in over his head. wonder if he waits to get another offer in college or decides to go back to high school. he's great for high school.
More recruiting stops, per 24/7...
-Herman will also stop by Duncanville today to see 2020 S Chris Thompson, Jr. and 2020 ATH Ja'Quinden Jackson.
-Coach Mehringer will go to St. Louis this week to visit WR Marcus Washington and 2020 RB Mookie Cooper.
-Coach Naivar will see LB De'Gabriel Floyd, S Chris Adimora, S Tyler Owens and 2020 S Bryson Washington (Houston C.E. King).
-Coach Washington will watch 2020 CB Jalen Kimber (Mansfield Timberview) and also go to Georgia for RB Derrian Brown and CB Kenyatta Watson.
-Coach Beck spent the morning in Scottsdale with ATH Jake Smith and he'll also check on TE Brayden Liebrock.
Per 24/7, Coach Meekins is one of the guys checking on ATH Peyton Powell this morning.
He will also go by Midland to see 2020 WR Loic Fouonji, who is originally from Cameroon.

This. Only Matt Ls rah rah stuff.
This Is ludicrous imo. Sam Heismann?
I like the board to take cold showers I guess.
24/7 saying Elam was offered, but UT isn't actively pursuing any other CB options at this time.
Elam mainly came to Austin because his father is very good friends with a Texas staffer and the family wanted to catch a game.
There's not much to see here unless the family decides to return for an official visit later in the year.
I hope Coach Naivar heads to Santa Ana and checks in on Bru McCoy while he's in California. Unless Herman is handling those himself (by those I mean McCoy and Sanders)
I dont like that. Weird things happen in Stillwater, OK and Aimes, IA in Saturday night games.

I will take it if this means we get lucky and Tech is morning or afternoon.
Not sure how many miles Herman is putting in because of the head coaching visit rules, but you'd think Mehringer and/or Orlando will be stopping by.
Even more recruiting stops, per 24/7...
-Herman went by Dallas Highland Park to see 2020 DE Prince Dorbah (anyone notice how Herman hit DFW first?).
-Both Coach Hand and Coach Giles are in Iowa today to see JUCO OL Myron Cunningham and JUCO DE Malcolm Lee.

-Coach Mehringer went to Cuero to check on ATH Jordan Whittingon.
-Coach Beck stopped to watch 2020 CB Kelee Ringo while in Arizona.
I Agree....Tech at night sucks!! We've done fairly well in Stillwater at nights in the past and OK state has issues this year.
