Per 24/7, Coach Mehringer will be watching ATH Bru McCoy when he plays this weekend.

Coach Drayton will head to Florida to watch RB Trey Sanders and RB Noah Cain.

They are saying Sanders' personal preference right now is UT and he's close with ATH Jordan Whittington, but his parents still want him closer to the Jacksonville area.

Inside Texas saying ATH Tamauzia Brown won't be playing for Newton the rest of the year and will wind up at JUCO.

That's another recruiting casualty for TCU.

He could be the contingency plan in case JUCO LB Caleb Johnson ends up at Oregon.

OL recruiting is so weird. Who got excited about the commitment of Cosmi and Connor Williams? I barely remember their recruitment.

Texas' staff is very conservative when it comes to recruiting both lines. I like this approach.... It helps identify late bloomers and i also think helps increase the hit rate on a players potential. You want 5 stars, but in most instances it's surprising to me how many 3 stars actually pan out (Cosmi and Williams) at the hardest position to recruit in all of collage football.
