Burn the tape.
Next.
well this was disappointing..hopefully they can make up for it in Memphis, there's no way they come out flat AGAIN after this embarrassment..
You haven't told me anything I don't already know here. What I am saying is that if the tendonosis has flared up why doesn't he have a brace on the other knee? Or does a brace make no difference?
Saying again, Pop doesn't want small ball to look bad.
Oh wait...
2nd half, Spurs 25 vs 42
I hate that mentality that everyone, except for Blair, has that they think they can just come into a game and coast along!!!!!!!!! We have to be wrecking their and not wait till we're down by 15 with 7 left to start pushing it!!!!!!!!!
At least we have another game tomorrow, so it should be <24 Spurstalk meltdown hours.
Wallace's line: 21 (9-14)/6/3/4/4!
Athletic tweener forwards kill us.
Diaw with 20/9/1/0/2.
Because apparently he needs a month to recover from the 3:56 he played against the Lakers. After all, he needs to rest up so he can be prepared to log 40 mpg in the playoffs...I don't get it, either. I get not playing him every game, I get not wanting to wear him out, but really, he's NEVER GOING TO HAVE TO PLAY EXTENDED MINUTES FOR THIS TEAM, SO THERE'S NO NEED TO BE SO OVERTLY CAUTIOUS. The team could have used him many a night this season (particularly during this stretch where Bonner is out and they're playing 3 bigs) and instead he's wasting away on the bench.
Meanwhile, Hill continues to log an insane amount of minutes in recent games. It's as if Pop is determined to wear out one of the few sets of energetic, fresh legs the Spurs have left during this daunting stretch.
Maybe if Pop acted like he cared somewhere in the 3rd quarter it might have mattered. His timing is off more than anyone on the team.
so after smallball, Pop goes with a lineup of..
PG Mason
SG Haislip
SF Blair
PF Ratliff
C Mahinmi
LOL
Lol big ball.
Even the Nets can beat the Bobcats!
I dunno whats up with Pop... maybe he just wants to rest his starters but a line up with 4 bigs...
Good game by Crash.
Hopefully our guys will be embarrassed and turn it on tomorrow.
Gotta love how Poop puts Haislip and Mahinmi in the game now that is over as if they're gonna save the spurs after hardly playing more than a handful of minutes the whole year.
Damn the Bobcats play D like I wish the Spurs would.
Players are always gonna have bad nights, no biggie. But when the coach puts 5 random people under 6'6" on the floor and expects them to compete, that's when the fans get pissed.
Spurs can't score but Ratliff was the answer?
Okay.
At least it works...
That turnover on Haislip illustrates more than likely why he doesn't play.
Stupid stupid play.
That being said, everyone just came into the second half with 90% of their brains in the off position.
Dejuan Blair, everyone.
Wouldn't it be grand...
This lineup saves the game and ushers in a new era for Pop: big ball!
