Wow, I'm surprised how poor hill has looked running the point. After three years, you would think he would be at the very least a decent back up to parker. I think its pretty apparent that he is nothing more than an undersized two guard.
He ran it fine when TP was out last year.

I think he's just low on confidence atm.

Chris Bosh had a 1-18 game the other day and i would take that over Hills performance tonight. absolutely pathetic on his part.
Bit harsh don't you think ? He hasn't played well, but has 6 pts, 4 assists. FG 2/6, better than 1/18 lol.

Chris Quinn isn't an NBA player, I don't know why so many people here defend him..

No, Quinn isn't going to lose you a game, but he has absolutely no potential upside either..he's a shooter that can't even shoot..he can't penetrate, he can't create for teammates, he can't create for himself..

Essentially, Quinn gives you a player that doesn't make many mistakes, because he doesn't try to make any plays(and when he does, he fails)..the Spurs are missing arguably their best player right now, they can't rely on a "steady" scrub like Quinn..

So why was Quinn getting minutes the wrong thing to do? He's the only other PG on the team.
He's not even a PG. He can't create offense. He's a 6 foot spot up shooter ala Steve Kerr (except he can't really shoot).

Quinn's minutes tonight should have gone to Neal and Anderson. Even if that means Neal playing 30 plus minutes. But of course you don't understand that obviously.

If this was a playoff game, I guarantee you Quinn wouldn't play.

    Why?

Because Pop would try to find minutes for his best wing players regardless of "position". Especially with Manu and Neal's (to a lesser extent) ability to run point.

The basketball gods said there would be games like this 4 the spurs. The grizzlies played spurs tough sunday-not surprised spurs lost, just the total score. Spurs have been fortunate in terms of losing streaks thus far-maybe it's their turn 2 go thru a little malaise. :-\

I don't think you understand that Chris Quinn is 1000x more a PG then Neal and Anderson. You want Anderson out there running point?

    You really are clueless. Tbh

Manu, Hill, Neal all can run point better than Quinn on both sides of the ball.

Quinn isn't even a "true" point guard. He's strictly an inefficient spot up shooter.

This would be one of the reasons if the Spurs decided to go with Dominic McGuire, I'd be ok with it, he is a good rebounder

If this was a playoff game, many things would have gone different tonight ... Spurs at least would be in the game, i.e. no need for Quinn playing anyway
