Ricky Seals-Jones is officially Longhorn commitment #6.
Texas finally made contact with ATH Stanvon Taylor of Tulsa, OK today. He and Duane Akina chatted briefly and he was extended a JD2 invite although he won't be able to attend. Should be some more information later and quotes from Taylor.

Raulerson seems like an early leader/recruiter for yalls 2013 class. Great to have someone like that imo... we need one. Might be Kohl Stewart, but who knows.

That included the dozen or so calls Mitc received from Alabama on Wednesday. As the Crimson Tide were calling, however, Seals-Jones was in Mitc 's office making a call to the Longhorns to give them his verbal commitment.
Exciting times. This team is going to have some serious athletes on the field a couple of seasons from now.
Jesus Christ Bama. 105 letters to one recruit, 200+ offers a year, and now calling RSJ's coach a dozen times on the day he's going to commit to Texas. When are kids going to get turned off by this ?
If the most beautiful girl in your HS kept calling you the day of the prom (even though you already have a date) would you be mad and get turned off by it?? Worst part of all, its just prom. She won't stop bothering you until you get married.

I'm happy to see Ateman on there. Wescott Eberts really likes his game, as do I. Give me Massington head to head, but Ateman can ball. Clock is ticking Samples...
It could be much worse - hopefully, that's the lowest thing they're doing but I doubt it.
What makes it even stranger is that RSJ NEVER expressed any interest in Alabama. In fact, he only visited LSU because his brother suggested it. He's been all Texas for awhile.
Bama and LSU are being aggressive as in Texas this year. Thanks a bunch Aggies.

I don't think Samples is under any pressure to commit, but Texas would wise to offer Massington to hedge their bets. Honestly, I love Samples' game, but I like Massington's size / speed better.
