what an amazing first half.
what an amazing first half.
Rick Carlisle is a demi god, he just didn't have enough bullets in the barrel.
Do you think Kawhi could impregnate a chick with his finger?
Well that whole "we won the second half" thing was such an example of a poor bball i.q. I mean, really, son…your coach tried to tell you that to keep you in the game but you didn't really believe it, did you?
seriously!
I knew when Matthews said "we weren't supposed to be here" he was falling back on his feeling of accomplishment to be in the 2nd round, and he has every right to feel that, but not after 1 game. Feel it after the series is over.
All about the rebounds at this point. The Spurs initial defense has been solid but the rebounding is the only thing that can keep POR alive tbh.
The Spurs can get ANYTHING they want on offense.
Free Tiago
Let him spread his wings
For all this talk of rockets plaging no d...LMAO
If the Spurs can just do all of this to OKC four times out of seven, that'd be great.
She is hot. I bet if you tongued her cli cli she'd stutter even more.
Our defense has been okay but not great. Portland is gonna come out swinging in the 3rd. Spurs better not let up.
Keep ing them up the ass, Spurs. Win the third quarter and give Big 3 and Kawhi some rest.
I am really proud of TP. He didn't hit shots early on, but he stayed aggressive and still got into the teeth of the defense. He still took the good shots and had a whopping 8 assists in the first half (should be 9 with that Tiago layup miss). Then he started hitting and almost ended up 50% from the field anyways.
Manu, outside of that 2 minute stretch where he had two terribly weak floaters (I get why, last game he got too far to the rim and missed, this game he's tying to stop short) and a TO after a great steal, has been playing exactly how we needed him to play.
The defense is still great initially (again, POR missed a few easy shots but so did SA) and even though they have given up 6 offensive boards, it's because there are a lot of misses and it hasn't killed them yet. Most impressive is the pace they controlled and all the ball movement and only 3 TO's. That is just incredibly clean basketball. Even if the shots stop falling as much, great defense and not turning it over will really help.
This run in the first half was actually complemented by the refs ... instead of two blocks Duncan easily could have two more fouls. No complaining there yet
Portland has brought what they have. Spurs will have to play ty or Pop will have to make some trolling subs utions just to get it back even.
You talking about Kawhi or Heather?
Finally following the DPG method.
Intensity to start the 3rd and we can rest with some of our bench for a while. Biggest problem is that Stotts will always overplay his starters
For all that pizazz about not ruining the flow of the game, the way we're hitting 3's the refs better give us phantom calls.
