Need to send him down to Austin again, so he can score like 50 points.
and I think I heard the Philly announcer chuckle, followed by a couple seconds of silence

For all the good Boban does on the offensive end, he's a huge work in progress on defense. I know +/- is overrated, but there's a reason he and Bonner were the only guys in single digits vs. everyone else +17 or better. He fouls like crazy and isn't a rim defender. Only two defensive boards in 17 minutes for a giant against the worst shooting team in the league.
To be fair, everybody has career highs against Philly. I remember Austin Daye looking like Klay Thompson against the Sixers two years ago.
Boban had 18 points!!![]()
Yea I heard it too. It was like a second or two after the guy behind him went "oh my god...".
LMA had 26 points in 22 minutes. that's pretty impressive.
hope he brings this confidence going forward when we go back to playing NBA teams
Also gotta make sure Drake isn't there.
I gotta give Philly crowd props, that was great they were cheering on Boban.
Weren't there mostly Spurs fans in the stadium?
well that was fun to watch
boban showing off
and simmons continuing to play well, after a bad pre season and a couple of bad regular season games, other than his jumpshot this guy is ready to contribute now imo
quite a few Spursfan there and I'm sure they were the most vocal but Bill said Philly fans were cheering as well.
yep, he can certainly drive, if shooting is his only problem that's fine we have Chip for that. Important thing is he has raw talent and a knack for getting to the rim and hustles on defense, too.![]()
Boban will be fine since he will at best be playing against 2nd string big men in garbage time. His job is to hold the lead so the starters don't have come back in to close the game, tbh.
I'll be content if he's our Enes Kanter with better defense and slightly worse offense.
Not since Rocky has the City of Brotherly Love been so inspired by an athlete.
Kanter can't even pass, he's just a better PnR player/offensive rebounder.
