No bench/depth whatsoever. Murray off to a bad start.

Joker has done some historic heavy lifting to drag them to a winning record.

Porter’s contract finally caught up with them. They can’t keep their bench, or even some rotation players like KCP.

Nugget’s using Westbrook as a spark off the bench. Jeez! And DeAndre Jordan

They just paid Aaron Gordon this offseason tho. It’s not just MPJ. It’s also Murray not living up to his standards or his contract right now

Murray has been their by far the biggest issue.
He's supposed to be the creator when Jokic sits, but he's been nothing short of atrocious.
As in he's no better than Devin in his current state and his max contract is just starting.
18ppg on 40/33/78, disgusting. 6'4, awful defender. They legit wouldn't be able to rid of him even if they just got expiring salary match in return. Not even Toronto would take Murray.
He's also been out of sorts if we're talking off the court stuff. Apparently he flew to Vegas to watch UFC the other night between two Nuggets games, just unacceptable.

MPJ is actually having his best season ever.
He's obviously not worth $35M a year, but at least he's been a positive contributor, unlike Murray.
And his contract is over in 2 years, he'd be easy to trade if Nuggets considered it.

If I’m MIN I’d call the Spurs about Tre Jones. They’re missing a connector. Not sure what happened to Mike Conley this season, but they seem to be really blah/stuck in mud. Also, I like Naz Reid and all, but he shouldn’t be relied on as much as he is IMO.

They've been giving him more mins recently but why spend all that future draft capital to trade up for Dillingham and not play him tbh? If you're afraid he's gonna be defensively then why trade for him at all, everybody and their mother knew he'd be garbage on that end as soon as his measurements were confirmed.

At least see what the kid can give you on the offensive end tbh.

Agree, though they would say the KAT trade changed everything and they didn’t know at the time of the Dilly trade it would happen. In any case, Tre would be a good stop gap until Dilly is ready to go.

Also, Julius Randle has to be one of my least favorite players to watch in the league. I don’t know why exactly but I just don’t like his brand of basketball.

Clash of the ans as Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham guarded each other for a few minutes and neither hit a single shot they took.

They didn’t think NY would part with DiVincenzo and actually do the trade. That blocked Dilly’s path.

DiVincenzo is already unhappy because he's not starting and he's been trash.
7/2/2 on 32/30/50 in 24mpg over past 8 games since their slide started.

What an awful move KAT trade turned out to be.

IMO the Wolves were playing above their level last year. Edwards is not Michael Jordan. Mike Conley is showing his age. Their role players aren't as tight as before. They had to move KAT for cap reasons, but it's not like the Knicks are doing great with him.

Even though he's got a center's body, KAT is a power forward. He was way better defensively at PF, did a great job on KD in the playoffs. Not good as a rim protector.
His spacing was obviously invaluable, he's one of the best shooters in the league in general, not just among big men.

Conley is obviously finished, Randle isn't a great fit, but McDaniels is their biggest issue. He got the same contract as Devin and while he's solid defensively, he's dropped below 30% from 3pt and that's all he does on offense.

Much like Kings, there's a reason why some franchises are always bad.

And people are whining when we have future assets from both teams.

Looks like the T-Wolves might've gotten a case of "We've Arrived-itis" It happens when youngish teams over-achieve.
They are a hot mess. Not sure the coaching/front office are going to lead this team to much. I could see them making a desperation move around the trade deadline.
