I loved the idea of Idol Gives Back.
And love him or hate him, what Bono has been doing is a truly awesome thing.
Makes perfect sense to not have sent someone home this week. Lakisha has been trash the last couple of weeks. And she isnt too intelligent neither it seems. I mean the ing mentor's have told her to pick another song and the dumb idiot doesnt. Good job. She even ed up a Fantasia song and I hate Fantasia, so thats hard to do.
Hopefully she is shown the door next week. And I guess Chris is gone also.
The Elvis thing was cool. Mad props to Celine for being able to get the synchornization down like that.
Blake was fantastic this week. Melinda has silly range. I didn't think she could do rock, but she busted out Tina Turner style.
Bottom three this week will be Phil, Chris, and Lakisha. Chris and Lakisha go home.
Jordin by far was the worst performer, but she has a huge following with good reason.
06. Chris - I don't know what's Chris's genre but it's not rock!
05. Jordin - Man o man, her worst performance! Might just get her in bottom three!
04. Blake - What the was that!!! He destroyed the song completely! Maybe, maybe if he would've left out the beatboxing it might have worked.
03. Lakisha - A very good night for her! In a perfect world she would be safe after a performance like that, but unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world.
02. Melinda - She rocked! Another great performance! Give her any kind of music and she'll do great.
01. Phil - I think he was the best last night and this was certainly his best performance so far! He should be safe tonight.
Chris, Lakisha going home!
I picked Lakisha only b/c the people don't seem to like her.
My picks:
1. Phil ... I think he did a fantastic job and I liked him the best
2. Melinda ... I don't really think she can ever be bad with anything involving singing.
3. Blake ... I'm the 1/2 of the audience that really liked it.
4. Lakisha ... much better than the last several weeks. I'm not a fan of *gospel-y*
kind of music at all ... so I think that might cloud my judgement a little. Girl
can certainly sing, though.
5. Jordin ... not a good performance at all, but her others have been so sublime she
definitely gets a pass.
6. Chris .... I really don't think this guy is very good at all.
I think Chris & Lakisha go home tonight, too.

I thought Phil did really good last night and I don't normally like him. But I don't know what kind of following he has compared to the others so he might not stay tonight. We'll see.

1. Melinda Great job. At one point I thought she was fading, she is coming back stronger than ever.
2. Phil I somehow missed the first half of it, still did really good, maybe if i had seen it all it would have been better.
3. Lakisha. I didnt think she could do it. She has a lot of catchup work though from last week, as I'm sure she was the worst by far...but stranger things have happened.
4. Jordin. Wow. That wasnt good.
5. Chris. The time is here. Time to go home.
6. Blake. I'm in the 1/2 that deplored it.
Chris and Lakisha are gone. Chris is definitely gone. Lakisha may be able to steal enough votes to sneak by, meaning Phil goes home. I'm still sticking with Chris and Lakisha and if I had my way Blake would be in it, as I just hate that beatboxing .

I didn't see the show but was blake really in the bottom three or just in the bottom two of the 3 people sitting in the top row? I dont think Blake is anywhere near the bottom... I think LaKisha will be out before him.
They didn't say who the top three were...I think they brought Blake down with Chris for effect.
