Stupid. Spurs only get lucky when they come out on top. They can never execute in close games anymore. (AT LEAST BESIDES DUNCAN, MANU ,etc) Horry stupid. Bowen Stupid. Finley got lucky. Tony erases his stellar game by getting baited on that stupid call.

Why is everyone so pissed? That wasn't an easy game, with or without Boozer in there. Playing in Utah is tough and Okur always hurts the Spurs. The Jazz are by far the best rebounding team in the NBA, so you had to expect stretches like the one in the 3rd. For the most part, the Spurs played a great game and the Jazz just got the benefit of calls and hit the shots they needed to.
This wasn't a poorly played game by the Spurs. The Jazz just got more of the bounces and little things that went their way. This is easily a positive game for the Spurs.

We lost, imo, due to our reliance on the jump shot in the second quarter. Why is it that other teams have at least one or two guys who can knock down jumpers at will and we have NO ONE. The Spurs deserved to lose after being out hustled and out rebounded (and minus Boozer!) Pathetic. I'm ashamed.

Duncan got the same exact call against the Mavs earlier in the season.
Robert Horry taking that shot is fine. If you miss you want a chance to get a offensive rebound in that situation. You're not going for the win, you're going for the tie so it makes no sense to let the clock run down before you shoot.
As much as the refs screwed us over, we gave up too many rebounds. Rebounds cost us, not the refs. The refs didn't help though :-)
