What's funny is I just realized that Baron is probably spending halftime riding an exercise bike and Dirk is probably well, you know.

Dirk and Terry are absolutely killing the team. Dirk's my favorite player but even I'm starting to change my opinion on him.

I think the Mavs have to feel like they're in the better position right now. The Warriors will do what they can to keep Baron loose during the intermission, but that hammy is likely to be a problem as the 2nd half wears on. Baron's making his jumpers right now, but I wonder if he'll have the legs in the 4th to continue hitting those shots -- I can't imagine that Nellie will sit him at all during the 2nd half.

The numbers generally favor the Warriors right now and the Mavs are within 2. I think they're in pretty good shape.

It's going to be interesting as both teams are playing a packed-in zone defense a lot of the time. The 3 pt shots are the wide open shots for Dallas but obviously that's what the Warriors want them to shoot.

What Baron Davis, , the entire Warriors team, is doing is somewhat inspiring. Davis has more heart than anyone out there, and on one leg is showing that Dirk is no MVP. Dirk winning the MVP this year would be a disgrace to basketball.

Of course. But it's not a foregone conclusion that they'll win it. I just think that even though the Mavs are down 2 at the half, they have to feel like they took a big punch, survived it and are in great position to win this game.
