I don't get the quan y of fights...why not just have 8 or 9 and try to squeeze most of them into 3 hrs?

I think the quality is related to the big push for TUF 7 since the fight night leads into it...

Quan y gives them high chances of airing some awesome unaired fights. If you have 3 fights chances are 1 will be awesome (ya hear that boxing?) so they have a few shots at filling some gaps with some incredible fights.
