Ok guys we have video evidence of the Lamar Odom clean block that was called for a goal tend. You can clearly see he did not foul him at all and he got the block before the ball hit the rim. It is extremely close though, can't fault the official for making the call he made.

Clearly a block. He's allowed to pin the ball on the backboard. Spurs got 3 biased calls to even get to that Barry shot.

    1. Odom's block on Parker.
    2. Manu's feet on the line.
    3. Fisher's shot hit's the rim, shot clock should have reset, Lakers ball.

It's funny how they keep ignoring the video evidence we are producing. They can't accept the fact that the refs weren't the reason they lost this game. The Lakers flat out outplayed them this game.
Great post and great point. Too bad it will likely go over the head of any Spurs fan who reads it. The calls have definitely favored their team this series.

READ AND ACCEPT, Spurs fans: Barry didn't allow Fisher to come down, and by moving to the right before he shot the ball, it became a no call. Boo hoo. No repeat. Your team will not go down as one of the all-time greats. Man up and deal with it.

No, if this is how you behave when you win, your family obviously hasnt taught you anything about winning with class. If they have, then YES, you are an embarrassment to them regardless if they see the posts or not. You just plain dont represent anybody or anything well. You talk about how you have taken all week then you turn around and lower yourself to that level. Ignorant people do that.
boy you are dr ing phil aren't you....i'm going to rethink my life tonight...i want you to like me so i will change..i'm sorry....give me 1 more chance...i will fly to san antonio tonight and pass out lakers gear like purple ghandi....get off your high horse...if you are going to judge people by this stupid ng website then i think your family should be embarrassed...a pilospher knows othing, but he knows that he knows nothing...you must be one uva philospher

Seriously, how can they complain when Bowen got away with a much more blatant foul in the finals?

Do you Spur re s realize you shouldn't have had possession because Fisher's shot hit the rim? Should have been Lakers ball. Oh well, Duncan gets away with a travel, Odom gets a clean block and its called a goaltend, Kobe gets mugged by Bowen, Fisher hits the rim but no reset.... NO CALLS, NO PROBLEM, LAKERS UP 3-1 IN SPITE OF THE LEAGUE'S BLATANT BIAS AGAINST THE LAKERS, BOOYA!
Do you faker realize that there was still time left on the clock for a possession? Of course not. Sounds like you have a big bias opinion there. And you call us whiners? Read your post again.

I wasn't looking for this before because I, like everybody else was so focused on the contact, however...

if you watch the replay, it sure looks like Barry travels prior to contact - he establishes his right foot as the pivot foot. He fakes the shot. He picks up his right foot (his pivot foot), then dribbles into Fisher.

Looks like a good block but a foul on Odom. Either or.

    Priceless

I think Spurs fans are largely in need of some intensive counseling sessions. It's really creepy how seriously they take this. "Show some balls, wager all of your vBookie points on the next game." WOooooow, way to go all in! How are you gonna pay rent and feed your kids if you lose all of your vBookie points?

Where's the official "Why did Pop take Barry out of the game for about five minutes in the fourth quarter and replace him with Manu Ginobili who may as well have been on injured reserve?" thread?

I am so furious. Enough to register here tonight. This was clearly a foul.
    Not according to Pop.

    Not according to Duncan.

    Not according to Manu.

    Not according to Barry.

    Lose with dignity.

    Lose with class.

Lose with your chin held high.

    But lose.

Pop does not call out the refs. Manu and Barry have class. The Spurs are a very class organization. I can't say the same for many other organizations and players.

Do you realize the complexion of the game would've completely changed if they made the right call on that possession. Spurs would be forced to foul and most likely down by 4 with approximately 3 seconds left. Refs did not decide this game. Spurs lost.

I'm disappointed the game had to end like this because the Lakers came to play tonight and flat out beat the Spurs on their home floor, something no team has been able to do in this post season. They deserved to be praised and applauded for their hard work but instead we'll have to listen to media hacks debate this last call for the next 2 days.

    Holy cow, you're right!

Barry clearly takes steps with both feet, moving the pivot foot well before Fisher comes down on him.

    Good eye!

A friend of mine made a very good point. He said, "You live by the calls you die by the calls". The only thing keeping the Spurs in this game was their free throws tonight, the Lakers were clearly the aggressors and were not waiting for the refs to bail them out on any play.

Do you realize that you are assuming that the Spurs would have been down by 4? What if only one free throw was knocked down? Then the Spurs would have had an extra second (maybe two) on their possession. Do you realize Pop may have called a different play with an extra second? As we all know, a lot can happen in a second (and .4 apparently).

I never said the refs decided this game. I feel like this was a bad call. There were many bad calls for both sides in this game.

that has to be your best post ever.
Lakers deserved to be praised. The Spurs deserved the opportunity to tie it up. NBA fans deserved a potentially miraculous finish. Joey Crawford instead decided to be God.

I'm not blaming the loss on the "play".
However, the "play" robbed both sides. Nevertheless, if the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn't care about being robbed of praise. 3-1 would make me forget just about anything. A championship and I could careless what anyone thinks.

Part of being a fan is trashing talking.... So I don't see what's wrong with doing it. If you want to be a nice guy who wins graciously with out rubbing it in, then go ahead and go that rout. But don't down talk someone for going the other rout. God damn it's just a forum. Since you want to tell people how they should act, I'm going to go ahead and say you're a little wuss.
