Welp. No LBs, no OLs, and no DTs in this class.
Hang in there fellas we haven't been palying up to standards to warrant commitments from these 5 star studs. Everyone who takes a leap of faith on us we've been letting down for several years now. If Herman can string together some wins and show some consistency we'll be back on board with some of these guys. Walker Little may have been all Stanford even with Charlie Strong still our Head Coach we've been winning very few battles against them of late.
If Strong stays, does Little go to UT? What's the consensus on that because I have no clue.
At some point we have to accept reality and see how spoiled we've become to expect these commitments from blue chip players after yet ANOTHER terrible season and a new head coach who has been in charge of the program for what, 3 weeks?? We'll be back but now is not our time.
It really sucks @$$ losing all these kids to out of State schools. I guess the great state of Texas isn't what it used to be. 6-7, 5-7, 5-7 for the most part is to blame here.
we lost 5'star players in the past and we are going to lose them in the future. It sucks, but the program is bigger than any single player.
I will say this, at this point all I want is a couple RBs, another DE and then shut this down and save the ships for next season. No reason to take a bunch of guys that will do nothing but sit on the bench and be an expensive scout team player.
2018 is another year and a chance for this staff to really make an impact.
^^^On board with this. We have players on roster capable of winning us significant games with good coaching. Take what you can get in this class and prep for next year.
