Fair enough he is everybody's leader. You still didn't answer the questions though.
What has Obama done for the black community that would make them look up to him? What has improved for blacks under an Obama presidency? Be specific.
    srs?

i'm pretty sure even the act of him becoming president is something that a lot of black community can "look up to"

if you're specifically referring to acts as president, different question

If the Dems were worried about Trump pivoting and taking a more nuanced approach to immigration, I guess they can breathe easy now. All Trump offered was more red meat to his core base. And to top it off, the Mexican president called out Trump for lying when Donnie said they didn't discuss who would pay for the wall.

Trump TV is looking more and more probable as Trump's primary goal out of this circus.

Black unemployment went from 16% at the height of recession to 8%. Obama's stimulus package, along with the Fed's monetary policy was a contributing factor.

He has done for them what he has done for the rest of us? Job creation are improving, got us out of a recession etc.

But again, for the purpose of this discussion, the fact that he's black gives credence to everything Obama has accomplished. The black community sees that as a massive success and accomplishment and look up and want to look up to him. In this case, being black does matter.

    Truth.

He was actually slowly gaining on Hillary. He ed up.

By shuring up his base, he alienated hispanics, blacks and all those other unsure groups. This is getting landslided.

That's pretty insulting to assume that just because he is black he is their "leader". What has Obama done for the black community that would make them look up to him? What has improved for blacks under an Obama presidency? Be specific.

Well, for one, he didn't put BLM in the terror watch list...

I don't think Trump can help himself - when he gets in front of an audience, he just feels compelled to entertain it - putting a stain on his great day. Sigh.

What did you think about his speech?

This was red meat for his base, they all loved it. This, however doesn't attract new voters.

This confirmation about building the wall and deporting however many people seals his fate as far as the hispanic vote goes. Also, he called Obama weak and foolish so me thinks the black vote is loss as well.

    ZE fallout has started.

Jacob Monty, a member of Trump’s National Hispanic Advisory Council, has resigned, and Alfonso Aguilar, the president of the Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles, said in an interview that he is “inclined” to pull his support.

No he was not. It was actually Hillary Clinton supporters in 2008 that started the birther movement.

Your article confirmed that it was Clinton Supporters that started the rumor. "Supporter" does not mean he claimed the campaign did it.

That being said, it is not unusual for campaigns to use theoretically unconnected surrogates to spread nasty rumors.
