yeah, and the jab the article took was doing just that. again, nothing there called her intelligence into question due to a belief in god
Except I am not a columnist for the paper that is owned by the group that owns Vanity Fair. I would expect someone to come back at me if I criticized it, as attacking their religion.
true. i still see a religious executive who governs with that in mind as someone forcing his religion down the populace's throat. that is different than calling his intelligence into question (though i might do that anyway)
People in power force their beliefs upon others. That's how power works. If those beliefs are religious by virtue of definition (face it, many beliefs aren't based in science) then it seems especially egregious however to think anyone in a position of authority where discrimination is concerned (no clear outlines on which decision to make) is going to rely on their beliefs, like it or not. Some might weigh whether or not their decisions conflict with the cons ution, which is a fairly clear outline (and part of the judicial branch to decide) however eventually it's their core beliefs that they act on, and why we elect them. If we don't want religious nuts (anyone who believes an invisible man in the sky commands the universe and watches our moves to decide if we're worthy of the fantasy world isn't playing with a full deck) governing, we need to be more adamant about promoting atheists. The problem is many atheists have an anti-religion agenda and that also conflicts with the Bill of Rights.

No, but as someone who moved to " the worst economic climate" per Time and CNN in 2009, and have traveled all across this state and have witnessed Moonbeams reign of terror, the vast majority of all metropolitan areas of California look more like that than the posh parts the elitists and tech giants populate.

Living here and seeing the bat lunacy of an alt-Left goverrnment and seeing how it could make a ty situation (Governator's reign) even worse and have complete disregard for the people of the state and give them no voice in very important votes really opened my eyes. Jerry Brown is Alt Left Trump, just a bigger thief.

GLOBALISTS FEAR 2018 THE YEAR OF “FULL TRUMP”

Trump growing more comfortable and experienced at being president

The globalists fear 2018 will mark the return of the hardcore Donald Trump his voters knew on the campaign trail as he grows more comfortable – and experienced – at being president.
Trump has even told his staff to expect “full Trump,” which isn’t surprising given his ramp-up of 101-proof tweets recently, including the one where he blasted “global warming” advocates as Arctic winds blast the US:

His tweets sound like vintage Infowars articles like this one.
“Most of those in his current decision-making circle — even if they’re not mainstream Republicans — are defending mainstream Republican principles like free trade and an internationalist view of foreign policy,” reported Axios. “But top officials paint a different portrait of Trump when it comes to what he really wants on trade, immigration and North Korea — but has been tamped down by skeptical staff and Cabinet officials.”
In other words, there’s going to be a sharp contrast between first-year Trump and 2018 Trump. He’s going on the offensive, especially as he completes the transition from being a real estate developer to an accomplished president.
Trump is also aided by the fact that Special Counsel Robert Mueller can no longer hide the fact his probe is entirely political.
This means the globalists might get desperate enough to do anything they can to stop the president’s “America First” agenda, especially as the 2018 mid-term elections loom over the horizon.
It could be as simple as fueling an economic collapse they can blame on Trump, a likely scenario given that the central banks are staffed by financiers adept at overriding the economy with a few bad policies Trump has no control over.
So far, the nation’s economic success under Trump is due to the president simply unshackling the artificial restrains former President Obama placed on the economy.
“If the deep state is successful in taking Trump down, the entire political movement around Trump will be wiped out and our cons utional republic may never recover,” warns political commentator Michael Snyder. “Trump is our last, best chance to dethrone the progressive globalist establishment, and that is why they hate him so much.”

Yeah I can see GOP candidates begging for a president who's in the 30s, ha lost every single special election races he's endorsed and someone who just passed a tax bill that no one likes but the ultra rich.

    But yeah, fear MAGA baby!

By your logic, you're fine with Trumps economy as is. The published economic numbers are fake.

I didn't say anything about economic numbers. The wage and class gap is bigger here than basically anywhere in the country. If you like your state government voting on annual raises you have no say in, absurd annual $15+ billion tax increases annually for pet projects, sacrificing the water supply of the farmland to sell to municipalities for profit and to appease extremist ecologists and other policies that force SMBs to close at record rates and that are driving one of worst population decreases in state history, California is the state for you.

California is what everyone claims the Right is doing to Murica- catering to the rich and widening the wage gap while ignoring the poor and being brazen with their self-interest governing.

White House reportedly frustrated by President Trump’s impromptu interview

President Donald Trump sat down for an impromptu interview with a New York Times reporter Thursday and some White House aides and officials weren’t happy about his decision.

Trump ended up giving Schmidt a 30-minute, on-the-record interview in which he discussed multiple topics, including his tumultuous relationship with the media and special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

According to The Washington Post, no aides were present during the interview, but White House communications director

Hope Hicks monitored the interview from “afar,”

even going so far as to have Trump’s personal aide interrupt the interview and hand the president a cell phone with her on the other end.

One White House official didn’t even know the interview had happened until after it was finished, and when asked about it, replied, “What interview? Today?

Another aide called the interview “embarrassing.”

The president’s former campaign adviser, Roger Stone , said that Mar-a-Lago “allows Trump to be Trump.”

some interesting quotes that have gotten a lot of coverage, such as

    Trump’s assertion that there was
no collusion with Russia, but if there had been, it was not a crime.

"collusion not a crime" getting a lot of play as talking point leading up to

    Mueuller proving there was

    LIED-ABOUT, "FORGOTTEN"-ABOUT, COVERED-UP collusion.

Mike Pence’s Aspen vacation neighbors taunt him with ‘Make America Gay Again’ banner

Vice President Mike Pence’s Christmas vacation in Aspen was protested by the neighbors next to the private home in which he was staying.

A rainbow flag with the words “Make America Gay Again” was posted at the end of the driveway to both houses, the Aspen Times reports.

The banner was hung by the daughters of the homeowners — and one of their girlfriends.

... but Pence's Christian supremacy bubble is impenetrable.

Here are 5 of the worst Fox News lies and errors repeated by Trash

    1. When he tweeted Fox News’ lies about his campaign manager’s crimes.

Fox & Friends quickly got to work spreading the lie that Manafort’s wrongdoing had occurred “many years before he joined Trump.”

    2. When he repeated Fox News’ false reporting about James Comey.

Fox & Friends segment and subsequent tweet claimed Comey had leaked “top secret information” to a friend, a declaration with no relationship to the truth.

    3. When he was confused by Fox News about the Swedish terror attack that never was.

Fox News put its spotlight on a do entary linking the increase in violent crime in Sweden with the arrival of brown migrants. (On a not-so-side note, the Guardian cites a Swedish Migration Agency report showing that is totally made-up Islamophobic garbage.)

    4. When he tweeted falsehoods about President Obama because he misunderstood a Fox News report.

“122 vicious prisoners, released by the Obama Administration from Gitmo, have returned to the battlefield,” Trump wrote in the Twitter missive. “Just another terrible decision!”

President Bush released 532 detainees from Guantanamo Bay, and 113 of those former detainees returned to “the battlefield.”

Meanwhile, Obama released 161 detainees, with just nine returning to the battlefield. So, no, Obama didn’t release 122 “vicious prisoners”

    5. When he even retweeted a Fox spelling error of his own words.

Trump declared that “the West was saved with the blood of patriots.”

Fox News aired the speech, but instead of Trump’s actual words, the chyron offered a misquote that read,

“POTUS: WEST SAVED BY THE BLOOD OF PATRIARCHS.”

Trump tweeted the Fox News clip featuring the typo, despite the fact that it contained a total misstatement of his own words.
