You don't believe he was arrested. You posted proof of that.
If your argument is that they need every vote they can get to win, I agree. As I mentioned a while back, the popular vote might not decide elections but it’s certainly an indicator of popularity and it becomes much more difficult to win when you’re consistently behind there.
However, there should be no confusion about the size of the base vs the fringe. The base is much much larger and will hold their nose and vote red. And ultimately, so will the fringe because their fears are deeply rooted in fantasies and fears like muh socialism, muh communism, muh bible, muh abortion and muh guns, etc
but this is a land of laws with a cons ution. I know that lately republicans have pretty much ted on the cons ution but unless you can prove your theory in front of a federal judge, this is false. End of story
Republicans have lost 7 popular votes out of the last 8 presidential elections. They are only relevant because to the electoral college and Gerrymandering systems.
I disagree that Trumpism is fringe, approximately every single mainline national Republican still pays it obeisance. They're terrified of it, and rightly so.
The fringe is indispensible in primary elections, personally dangerous to politicians and their families if crossed. The pattern of threatening Republican officials who let them down isn't going away, and neither is the organized fascist street violence that Trumpies think is the second coming of 1776.
Trumpism is the the flavor of the day, IMO. I would tend to agree about two things: 1) it’s a faction decidedly dangerous to democracy and 2) they have a vocal minority.
That said, the only major difference from the traditional GOP is communication. Where the traditional GOP was afraid to say how they felt about the Confederacy, racism, phobia, xenophobia, etc these guys are not. That makes them popular within the base, but the base is never enough.
That's not how it works, dumb .
Post proof he got arrested or lose again per par.
Warmongering and nationalism vs globalism
You are full of because like most here I'm sure you believe it was Trump's legal team who lost 30-40+ cases thus far. Lmao
Who is advocating for the confederacy, racism, phobia, xenophobia, etc from Trump's base? If anyone it's a very small faction. I see a lot of that bs from the left tbh but perception is key regardless. Get out of your echo chamber bro.
the lack of self awareness
Is it? Globalism hasn’t gone anywhere and won’t go anywhere. Nationalism is pure lip service.
Trump himself clearly is.
As do I. There are no "great men" changing history. His becoming president is the result of a changing environment. The drivers of these change are:
1) The internet and social media - Before the internet, it was much more difficult to spread false information. Think how hard it would have been for the Russians to spread conspiracy theories in the US in the 1980s. You'd have to physically print the information, disseminate it etc.
Now its cake. Digital media is easy to create. Social media platforms give people the opportunity to share false info with millions.
2) Cable news - Lots of cable news stations, particularly Fox News, devote almost their entire schedule to politics.
We're a compe ive bunch. Trump acted like a gang leader. People like him because they hate Democrats.
3) End of cold war - We have no one left to fight, so we fight each other. Ask a Trump supporter what the biggest threat to America is and they'd say "Democrats". Not "terrorism" or even "China".
Answer: Trump
1) Trump banned Trans members via tweet. When I served, I saw people who were good at their jobs just "disappear". I remember one sgt was our readiness officer and our unit got major kudos as being the only unit that had their together when they were deployed. One day, he was gone. Turns out, he was gay. I couldnt believe it. Who gives a ? Obama ended DADT. Trump banned trans members....via tweet. Unforgiveable.
2) Trump called on a complete shutdown of ALL Muslims entering the country "until we figure out what is going on". He couldnt implement it because its illegal (they settled for partial travel ban), but he still publicly called for it.
3) Trump ended DACA protections. Those kids did nothing.
4) Trump defended people white nationalists protesting the removal of confederate statues.
5) Trump refused to sign defense bill because it renamed bases that were previously named for confederate generals.
6) Trump said he didnt want people from " hole" African countries. I dont know why. Everyone comes here because their old country was a hole.
7) Trump pardoned Joe Arpaio, who was convicted of racial profiling. He doesnt REALLY care about "law and order". He just doesnt like brown people.
It's not the who it's the what that got dismissed, dumbass
yes, yes, yes...this is all a big conspiracy theory to remove trump from office. Even the judges he nominated, I mean we are talking about trump, the guy who picks the best people, were in fact democrat/deep-state agents to remove trump. Trump's team has not been able to prove anything in front of a judge. That's the end of it. Anything else is BS from people who are sore losers and conspiracy theorists
LOL No.
well, now you know her end game. There are a bunch of them jockeying for position in the trumper party.
Do you believe he was arrested?
Yes or no.
Not answering means you don't believe he was arrested.
I acknowledged that it was reported he was taken into custody.
That triggered you; and you still haven't posted any denial by Schiff or sources.
You didn't answer the question.
You don't believe he was arrested.
Youre chasing ghosts.
Youre hoping to find fraud so you think anything weird or unordinary is proof of "fraud". Youre not stopping to consider the infinite amount of other possibilities.
