No, he indeed had a bad game.

The thing is that he always does the "standing around" that he did today, the thing is that in other matches is less noticeable 'cause he touches the ball more.
Its the lack of effort off the ball that irked me today. I don't think its some illusion due to lack of touches. If you don't touch the ball, put some effort into getting yourself open at least. Don't just walk and wait for it. Messi is usually remarkable at this. Not today for some reason. Everyone else was running their asses off.

Actually, he's been pretty lazy on a lot of la liga games... that's why I was pointing it out... I didn't watch a lot of this game, I just suspect it was more of the same.
and then some IMO. Hence the ing on my part

So 3 of the four Semi-Finalists are already set.

Although I'm a big Bayern homer, I want Barca to win. I ing hate Milan. van Bommel is one of my favorites though.

Since the "away goal is worth more" era, everytime Milan has draw 0-0 at home they have won the tie.

yeah, and its not like Barca dominated Milan. I can think of at least 5 or 6 wasted, clear chances by Milan. An away goal is very probable. Barca better bring their A game or its bye bye.

and let me tell you, if Barca plays like this against Real... its going to be an embarrassing final.

I've seen many Messi games like this one where he doesn't get the ball and just stands there waiting for the ball to get to him. It used to irk me too but now I've learned that that's just the way he plays.

Yeah it's going to be awseome.

Come to think of it, Chelsea vs Barcelona/Milan is going to be a sexy semi-final too
Chelsea would get smashed by Barca.

lol if non-RMAO/Barca Spanish teams are beating some of the best clubs in England, then Chlsea have zero chance against Barca.

Algeria... Mesbah is horrible, he comes in and almost gives Barca a penalty pulling Puyol's shirt, falls down and lets Messi shoot for goal and almost hand-balls while he's down there
    He is a bulldozer

But he wasnt as bad as some of his teammates today TBH

He just needs more CL experience

Oh and on Messi's chance, he slipped you idiot
The pitch was slippery, see Messi's FK in the 1st half where he fell on his ass

He slipped you idiot? When did I say he didn't slip? Did he fall? Yes he ing fell, that's what I said. While on the ground he was inches from grabbing the ball with his hands.

I could care less how it is he fell, it almost allowed a goal, at the end of the day the kid is bad, and has been bad on this tournament.

don't you have faith in Bayern
Why not. OM stands no chance in München and I'm not afraid at all of Real. We have their number. There's a reason they call us "la bestia negra".

Sure, they can beat us in two games, but I give Bayern at least a 50% chance of advancing against Madrid.

Bayern is desperate to reach the Final in München.

OM is going to be beaten Basel-style. Munich has definitely a shot at Real Madrid for the final. The leg two for the both of them will be practice games.

Also, why do they call the Munich arena the Fußball Arena München instead of the Allianz Arena, or the Arsenal Stadium instead of the Emirates. I don't get it especially Arsenal because Arsenal Stadium is the Highbury and not the Emirates
Munich will beat Madrid imo. Bayern are my dark horses now.

Is that right? I've yet to see Real lose and not about something. It just doesn't happen.

    biggest complainers: Real, Barcelona
    most diving: Spanish league
teams that tend to dive the most in international play: Spanish speaking countries, including Argentina

I think there's some sort of trend, I've always noticed a lot of pussification and ing in sports with Spanish + Latinos. I'd be a homer if I couldn't admit it but it pisses me off.

Well, I should include Italians and Portuguese too. Basically, the differences between southern and northern Europe are noticeable.
