FYI his daughter is dating Sam Dekker though.
Okay, I remember in preseason, I didn't think Murray would be ready to play anything but garbage time this season. He has really come a long way. Regardless of what happens from here on, he's really stepped up. For a guy who got very little playing time, and then got injured, he's really played well.

It does actually. I think we are down double digits if he doesn't pick up his third foul. It sure was headed that way with his weak ass post-ups and stupid offensive fouls/turnovers.

I'd say his second best game. Had some TO miscues etc but he has made shots. I preferred Pop playing Murray to end the quarter though.

Yeah if you want a big who can't back anyone down might as well just put Dedmon in since he can at least move on the defensive end. I remember thinking this summer needed to be salary dump Parker or bust, but now I think dumping Lamarcus Barry Carroll for anything of worth (or maybe capspace to go after Hayward) has to be the first goal of the offseason.
That's very true. I was talking about it with a friend of mine before game 3. I said that Danny keeps going on about how he's not here to hit shots, his number 1 priority is defense, but IMO his defense has always been better, or at it's best when he's hitting shots. It's just natural, you're going to have more confidence and feel better on the defensive end when you're hitting shots. You don't feel weighed down by the pressure of always having to make it up on the defensive end if you miss a shot.
I'm intrigued if Murray can add size to frame. He's got a good game and this has to be building confidence

It's not all on LMA. Spurs not getting him the ball in good spots today like game 3 as the guard play was really choppy most of the half. Sure, he settled for a few bad ones, but when he got the ball facing up it was fine.
Looked like he came up favoring his left ankle, but the team following behind him to the locker room didnt look alarmed

Yep, the only thing he can do on offense is get put backs. He does nothing for his teammates and becomes a huge negative when we run plays for him.
