FIN got a great look. You can't . At least TP passed it.
By the way the Spurs were set up in that last play, it was obvious that Manu was supposed to get the ball and drive with it. At least it should have seemed obvious to you if you watch Spurs games regularly.

Manu was positioned like he always is when he's about to catch and drive.

The game hasn't been THAT lopsided. We missed too many FTs, and Terry has hit some really difficult shots. We haven't really hit too many of our tough shots yet. If Terry and Stack keep taking the same quality of shots they're getting, we'll be okay.

I think that we will know if this will be a close ball game down the stretch by the first five minutes or so of the third quarter.

Will the Spurs continue the positive mojo and momentum that they had at the end of the half or will they continue to stink it up?

Avery will have the Mavs come out firing in the second half, after letting the Spurs go on an 8-0 run. Spurs need to be ready for that and not sag off to what they did for the 20 minutes of the first half.

NVE feed to TD got the run started and the team fired up. Need MORE smart passes from NVE, less shots.
He makes those passes all the time though. He makes great little passes that aren't noticed. He's great at running the offense.

Mavs backcourt outscored Spurs backcourt 24-16. That needs to improve in the second half, along with our defense and rebounding.
It's more like 24-20. Manu has 8, to Barry's 4, and he's really the starter. His mins didn't go down any, he was just off the bench.

Keep Harris on Parker is the key. I would almost rather have Daniels on Parker than Terry. Terry sucks on defense.

Speaking of boring, if the Spurs are what are the Mavs then? Copy cats of our franchise. How boring!

    Exactly.

You will be able to tell who will win the game by the way both teams come out.

The Spurs need to act like they just let the Mavs have the 8-0 run, be the aggressors.

The Mavs are shooting better (50% vs. 41%) AND getting offensive rebounds (7 out of 18 misses) AND getting more FTs (23 to 16).

That should be an unbeatable combination.

TO differential is actually working in the Spurs favor for a change (3 to 8).

Nothing seemed obvious to me. Spurs usually draw a high pick and roll not a drive then kick. That's why I was surprised about the pass. I thought tp would drive it straight to the basket.

ABC sucks at halftime. They spend 10 minutes talking about Richard Jefferson's wardrobe.

Well maybe that's just you, but Manu was clearly supposed to take it to the rack.

The Spurs do that often, Manu follows TP after receiving the pass, TP serves as a decoy and clears the lane a little. It works.
