Tim is 11-11. So, going to Tim seems like it is resulting in a high percentage shot. Anybody else got similar numbers and has been as productive as Tim?
Answer: no.
If we can score every time that Tim shoots and get their forwards/centers in foul trouble, then we should do that.
Pop has won 3 les, including last year. This season we have the best regular season that we have ever had. Before we start jumping to fire Pop threads, you might want to think about those two facts.
Based upon those two facts, Pop seems to be a pretty good coach, probably a better coach than any of us. If he thinks that Rasho is not fast enough to guard Dirk, he might very well be right. You may believe that Rasho is lightening fast and can cover Dirk well. That is your faith and contention. I don't share it. What does he run the 40 in? Do you really want Dirk to take 100 free throws? Because it most assuredly would be the result of putting Rasho out on Dirk.
Tim and Robert have played together soon. Since that is not big enough for your preference, you must want Rasho or Nazr. Since Tim can't guard Dirk without getting in serious foul trouble quickly, Rasho or Nazr must guard Dirk or a guard like Harris or a small forward like Howard if we put in a big.
Who does the second big (ie bigger than Oberto or Horry since they are not big enough based upon your posts) guard?
Until you answer that question satisfactorily, you would be wise to limit your criticism of Pop.
