Pops still can't figure out a way to stop Mehmet Okur.

i think the best way is just make a run for him when he's a FA
so he can stop embarrassing this team.

    Great game.

Did we have one timeout left when we had trouble inbounding the ball?

    ...

This wasn't a poorly played game by the Spurs. The Jazz just got more of the bounces and little things that went their way. This is easily a positive game for the Spurs.

They got outrebounded 50-32 when the Jazz didn't have Boozer. What's positive about that

Why is everyone so pissed? That wasn't an easy game, with or without Boozer in there. Playing in Utah is tough and Okur always hurts the Spurs. The Jazz are by far the best rebounding team in the NBA, so you had to expect stretches like the one in the 3rd. For the most part, the Spurs played a great game and the Jazz just got the benefit of calls and hit the shots they needed to.

No more moral victories. I thought you said the Spurs had this? I guess you don't know the spurs.

Yep. Here comes a back to back loss. Love the Spurs, not jumping off the bandwagon but Horry can't play two in a row.

Duncan got the same exact call against the Mavs earlier in the season.
True, but at least you guys got justice. We didn't.

    Okur killed us.

Nah, that's no fluke man. The Spurs just refuse to move their feet and hustle for those loose balls and boards. They've been consistently out-classed in the hustle department by every good team out there.

Only Duncan and Parker played good this game.

I think it was better when Manu was a starter.

    about this:

    Rebounds

Jazz - 50 (without Carlos Boozer)
    Spurs - 32!
thank you kori! this is why we lost...how many offensive rebounds did we give up 18...how many did we have...8

Pretty much a must win tomorrow night for the Spurs....lose and it proves that the Spurs have no shot against the top teams in the West. Secondly, you fall too far behnind the Mavs to even contend for the division...could even fall behind the Rockets. I'll be cheer for the Spurs...please play smart and POUND THE BALL INSIDE and slow it down againts the Suns.

As much as the refs screwed us over, we gave up too many rebounds. Rebounds cost us, not the refs. The refs didn't help though :-)

    This loss is on us.
But Tony was awesome and the effort was there by the rest of the team.
    We'll be all right.

Utah hit some amazing shots- have to give them due credit.

Well, that is a functional flaw with the roster. They can show plenty of heart, but some nights they are going to get killed on the glass.

Maybe if I had HD I could see things that way, too.

Instead, I saw one more team without their best player beat the Spurs.

Pop's Manu on the bench experiment proves ineffective.

why pop don't give shot at tony on the last 3
I was laughing at myself thinking the same thing in my head. It would have been a huge, gutsy call, but hey .. Tony was on fire.
