Seems to me IMHO too many on here are over reacting to KBP's posts.
Some of us actually find it quite illuminating.
And many of us follow European basketball among others.
Why all the animosity?
It is really quite simple, if you don't want to read news about VSpan, or Luis Scola, or who the other player, then just don't read those threads.
Some of us however like hearing news of certain players like Splitter and VSpan. Others like, or used to like, hearing news of other players like Scola.
So lighten up everyone. It takes all kinds to make this world go around.
And as the Iceman is so fond of saying, "what goes around, goes around".
Many of us here appreciate what KBP has to say on the matter. He seems to have an "insiders" opinion on things related to VSpan.
So what's the big problem???????????????

Why are we so defensive? I'm no sheriff to set rules for anybody. I'm just speaking my mind and pointing out the obvious. I don't expect to achieve anything. If I can talk, they can talk. Some here are overreacting to the reactions to BTK's posts. If you don't like the reactions, don't read them.

That is an ironic but aptly true statement if I ever read one.
But just so you know, I usually don't read too many of the innane with cussing replys to KBP unless they are on the humorous side.
It only takes a few seconds to determine those, and then just go on the next post.
Maybe KBP does post too many threads on the subject, but are you really keeping score on this?
Why?
Frankly, when I go from forum to forum looking for those particular threads that appeal to me on both ST and SR and on other forums, I look for threads pertaining to VSpan, Splitter, and that other SF (forgot his name) the Spurs have stashed away playing in other leagues.
I have done this since before Manu, and was quite proud of the fact that when others were scratching their heads wondering who Manu was and how he could be so good, I had already done my homework on them.
I see no difference in this situation.
Really good teams and FOs in this league do this on a consistant basis, and they also give their players (the ones with character anyway) the lat ude to spend needed time with their families when it is needed, ala Horry.
Plus the really informed fan also does this.
Chill, guys and gals. Life is too short. And there are much bigger issues to get bent over.
Well its late. Long day tomorrow driving to El Paso.
But I gaurantee you that tomorrow evening once I get back online here, I will hopefully still find this thread here thriving, as well as those about Splitter and others I keep tabs on.

Kori, granted, technically he isn't a Spur in the same vein that lets say Scola was, but you cannot deny that the Spurs do actually have the inside track on making him one in the near future, can you?
Also, technically he was a Spur for a short amunt of time, or they at least held his rights due to the trade, and its' been commonly known that VSpan would like to be a Spur in the future as well as reports that the Spurs FO and Pop are still very much interested in him.
Consequently, so am I interested in him and any other bits of information that can be shed on the subject.
So technically speaking why is this any less interesting than the countless millions of previous Scola threads?

Anybody in the NBA is more relevant to the Spurs than Spanoulis. Spanoulis makes more than three times as much money as the Spurs would ever offer him. The chances of Spanoulis ever coming back to the NBA is slim. The chances that the Spurs would be that team is even slimmer. If the Spurs wouldn't pay $9M for Scola, they sure aren't going to pay that amount of money for a tweener guard who bombed in the NBA his first time around. Maybe a team like the Raptors will pay that amount if Spanoulis dominates in Europe, but even that is unlikely.

Name anyone in the NBA and that player has as much of a chance or more of a chance of eventually becoming a Spur that Spanoulis.

In the past I raised my voice against bad mouthing a Spurs player with arguments that didn't have anything to do with basketball. In the mean time he became a former Spurs player. And you and others just continued to trash him. There is plenty of evidence for it on this forum to prove it. Don't make me go search for them, because you would look like, how should I say,...you are not telling the truth?
Today we are talking about something else and KBP is just a unfortunate reason for this discussion. KBP is a fact, and it's up tu us to deal with him. If you don't like him...ignore him, you don't have to call him names.
