When was the last time the Spurs got blown out at home, in April, and proceeded to win the le? (excepting games in which they rested guys for the playoffs)
didn't Dallas beat them by 45 in 05?

Suns don't have any complex now if we play them in the playoffs! Suns got the final momentum and we choke all along

Jesus Christ man. Even if the Spurs don't repeat, why is it such a big deal? You asshole non-Spurs fans always make it seem like time will end if they don't win a game in the regular season or repeat.

ing happens man. I mean really, what has Dallas done that even gives you the right to come off like a y prick?
Hyper sensitive much? All I did was ask a question. A simple question. Nothing slanted, rude, or hostile about it.

The dude claimed this game didn't mean anything, and I asked him if there was a case in which a similar game was followed by a Spurs le.

I know your team just lost, but maybe take it easy a bit? I'm not out to get you--it'll be ok.

If there isn't going to be no ing defense, they need to get better offense.

    this is Pop's fault.
how many times this season? review the last few games.

I can actually say that now.

THE RED FLAG IS UP, PEOPLE.
the starters are now on the bench(again).

See you in the playoffs. After Pop's strategy for playoff positioning is over

Looks like they don't need cheering right now.

Man, Spurs really need Horry and Barry back ASAP. Need to open up the floor. Kurt Thomas and Oberto can't hit 8 ft shots. Sad.

depressing! Spurs just made the Suns look like the Pistons on defense. How in the world did we score in the paint so easily in the first half and then just get shut down in the 2nd?

Amare and Shaq with 4 fouls halfway through the 3rd quarter and we can't do ! Suck on that one tonight Pop!

First of all, thanks for not flipping out and throwing a fit at my question.

To answer yours, yes, there was a 104-68 game in '05, but Tim Duncan didn't play in that one, as I recall. And also, my question actually referred to games in SA, and that particular game was in Dallas.

But nice work--I had forgotten about that one.

You do realize that when you're making the argument, "The regular season doesn't matter, Spurs will turn it on in the playoffs," you're doing precisely that--relying on history, and not the facts of present?

Which is it, does history matter, or not? If it doesn't, then fine, this game means nothing. But if that's the case, then you have nothing to substantiate your claim that the Spurs will suddenly turn it on in the playoffs.

That is the worst loss this season. no excuses for it whatsoever.
    Is it the worst?

What about the last Sons game, when we gave it away?

What about the Boston game, when we gave away a 22-pt lead?

Or the Denver game, when we blew a double-digit lead at the half?

How about the Seattle game, when we lost to a team that had lost FOURTEEN straight?

    The last New Orleans game?

I'd say that this loss is in the Top 5 however.

Man, when you put it like that it makes the Spurs look like the Sonics or Memphis or New York.

No it'll be ok man, I just said that in my post. Act all innocent, as if you have no hidden malice behind your words.

if the Spurs get knocked out 1st round, you think it's the end of the line for me? I'm in utopia forever with the 4 les.

Anything else, even after the 1st one, is icing on the cake.

You on the other hand have absolutely no clue what that cake even tastes like.

What a depressing ing loss. This offense is just terrible. We were fine for 3qtrs and then got shut down and by the Suns of all teams. This is as mad as i have been in a long time in the reg season.

We didn't get shut down we just missed shots. Not a lot of them had to do with the Suns D either.

A lot of them did though. When the Suns switched to the zone D to start the 2nd they took control of the game. 25pt swing after the 1st Q.

When you see this loss tonight combined with the loss against the Jazz and how bad our O was, do you really think we are ready for the playoffs???
